Schrodinger’s mackems. Where you’re simultaneously a ‘massive’ club with global recognition whilst being utterly obsessed with how you’re perceived in relation to your rivals (as per that thread) and are a stepping stone for promising youngsters

I'm no expert on these fuckers but other than bellingham, who they intermittently hated and thought was shite and appears to be a massive punt by dortmund that he turns out like his brother. surely birmingham city have a bigger claim on the development of either of the bellingham boys than these mackem cunts?

isn't their only other big sales in these amazing few years ross stewart to southampton for £8m in '23, played 15 scored 1

and jack clarke to ipswich for about £12m, 0 goals in 20 league appearances, hated by the tractor boys and is being  punted out after only a year?

duly noted and in awe.

What we took notice of was the fact that out of the biggest transfers of young players from the championship to the PL - none of them came from Sunderland

Would you know if the mackem was alive or dead before you opened the box?

If the box was inside the SoS , yes, due to the stench of shite and constant BEEEEEWWWWWWS emanating it.

Being too broke to buy players doesn't translate into having a system for developing players.

Yeah it's reminiscent of when we had Ardiles in charge. Absolutely no money so had no option but to go with the youth. Just so happened we had some decent talent coming through in the likes of Clark, Watson, Elliott, Howey, etc. at that time.

The globally recognised SR6 postcode area

I was about to ask, why is SR6 a draw?

Have any of the makems claiming STID (ironically sounding like VD) makes them “fashionable” actually seen it? Because it actually makes the whole club including fans look like complete basket cases. That’s also ignoring it totally makes the fans look like inbred appalachians.

 Just think, there’s ages until the season starts yet too. By the time they kick off, they’ll have convinced themselves that they’ll be the new Invincibles

aye.

but there's invincibles and then there's globally recognised invincibles.

Well, that I'm aware of. It's a few times now that I've had to turn the hose on Foden and Mainoo scuttling around the bottom of my drive.

I may be massively missing the point (of there is one) but I assumed SR6 = six in a row rather than an actual postcode

You had to go into the basement of your mind palace to dig that clue out, huh?

I genuinely used to think they had a DH post code.

I do wonder how their reptile brains cope with "County Durham" places south of the Tyne having NE ones - probably it's the shady businessmen/Magedia/Look North's fault.
