I can remember going to see Back To The Future like it was yesterday man :(

I remember the hairs standing up on the back of my neck as the opening " A long time ago, in a galaxy, far far away " of Star Wars rolled up the screen at the Odeon on Pilgrim St.

Have that, spotty youths!

Edit; failing to read the preceding posts is a sign of senility.

My Dad took me to the pictures to see Star Wars :(

Same. Phantom Menace was shit though. ;)

Edit. Just realised what that might have actually been about. :blush2:

Was out last night, got dragged to a club. Looking around at the people in there made me feel quite old. Until I looked at the people I was with from work who are all much older than me, dancing like mentalists. At which point I realised I probably counted as one of them for all the "children" who were in this club.

Fuck knows, he's not the sanest of people as he flies choppers in the Northern Territory.

His daughter is 5 this year so maybe she's going to be the cool kid on the street.

Having my one-eyed milkman shed a tear to Dr Alice Roberts simply saying "one thouysand" .

Dr Alice is a particular favourite in our house too.......welcome back LTB. :)

I felt old on Saturday tea time when I yet again failed to keep up with my father in the drinking stakes....he's just turned 77 :D
