Yeah, because that's what the article said.

First fucking sentence of the article

Food staples including lettuce, tomatoes and beef could be in short supply or even disappear from supermarket shelves after Brexit

But surely you admit that there will have to be checks?

Why? If the FTA agrees that we accept each other’s standards on certain goods then no. If we are getting Tomato’s from Spain that meet EU standards then why on earth would we need to inspect them.

They will be no more dangerous than now.

We'll be a third country. The EU can't just accept our word that everything is okay, international trade doesn't work like that.

What happens when we get our glorious trade deal with the USA and we're taking in GM wheat, chlorinated chicken and hormone injected beef? That won't meet the EU's standards.

Mandatory inspections are enforced by the WTO. The disruption to trade at Dover will be huge and food will rot in the stack. I just wish people would do the minimal homework in this or at least listen to those in charge at Dover.

Its nothing to do with the EU whether we check tomato’s coming into the U.K. from Spain.

No, it's to do with the WTO.

Fuck me, it's almost as if there is a good reason the SM exists and that every western European country, bar Switzerland with its border posts, is s member of it!

That's him in a nutshell though. Great at saying what's wrong but no idea how to solve problems. Problems he campaigned for in this case

You’ll have to do better than that Bunty.

There’s competition on here for the title of Pig Shit Thick Tory Wum now that our anxious little fuck from Coventry has shown up, and low grade efforts like the above just won’t cut the moutarde any more.

Needs more pamato’s.
