I've got to say the CL leaves me cold half the time and has some shit and meaningless games but its been great seeing the 1st leg games of the English sides now we've reached knock out stage. Think Chelsea will spoil things by not losing so won't bother watching it all.

Not much sympathy for manu supporters tbh but this stinks....if true...

Turns out that actually it is true.

United operate a system in which season ticket holders agree to buy additional tickets for cup matches although there is an opt out option for Capital One Cup games and under 16s can opt out of FA Cup matches.

A Reds spokesman pointed out that this system has been in operation for a number of years and added that there was no reason to make an exception for this tie. If fans do not buy a ticket then they are suspended for the next home league match.

The spokesman said: “We did notify fans that failure to pay for a game in the cup scheme would mean a suspension from the next game.

"We have consistently done this throughout this season (this is not the first time).

" The terms and conditions are clear: 'in respect of each home cup match for which the Ticket Holder fails to provide valid payment card details or for which the Ticket Holder’s card or payment is declined, the Ticket Holder’s Season Ticket may be suspended for one home league match.

"This measure was introduced at the start of last season. If we successfully sell the ticket the fan has failed to pay for, they can apply for a refund of the City ticket at the end of the season.”

This is typical of Man City, this... clearly the best team in the league, but lacking in the mental strength to win anything (aside from that league title).
