Can I suggest you click on the link as it was all discussed in there. ;)

You are a lazy thick cunt aren't you.

So GB as a nation has not been invaded since 1066. The last people to think about it did so 77 years ago but didn't actually try. Lucky we had all those nuclear weapons to put them off.

If only we could join a political union with all of the European nations to prevent this from happening.

Will Trident cost £4bil a year though? Or will we need to front load it with £150bil? Because unless the government are drip feeding it your argument falls down, because the NHS absolutely would miss £150bil over the next few years

I guess the £30-£40 billion quoted is the upfront cost and that the £150 billion figure someone mentioned is the long term cost of maintaining.

If it needs to be funded then it should come from cuts to the defence budget. But after a spate of attacks France are getting hammered for their defence cuts which have been the biggest globally over recent years. Would the UK public be happier with an increased risk that we couldn't intervene to take out that next attacker, if it meant the NHS kept £40bn over the next few years?

Obviously they'll just borrow, call it deficit and make more of the same cuts we've seen the past 6 years to cover it though.

That was initial thought too, but he definitely has a bit of the magic about him. Very cool calm and collected.

And he's all for a get out referendum "if the public mood changes over the next 18 months".

Hustings tomorrow between him and Eagle. She'll drop out Tuesday at the latest. As I said before, she's good at orating Tory ministers but is an empty vessel with regard to leadership.

On the money as usual ;)

I bet our diplomatic relationships were mint back in the day when there were no cameras and the natives spears were no match for our rifles.

Sorry, Boris Johnson's inner monologue just crept in a bit there.

Does anyone know what he's on about regarding Egypt? Does he mean Turkey?

Can speak Latin and quote the classics but can't remember the name of the country that bridges Europe and the Middle East. Don't believe the hype, the fucking idiot.
