Howmanheyman 43933
How will they announce televised games now? Most non-televised games are generally going to be the likes of Southampton v Palace, Burnley v West Brom etc? Good luck getting a fortune there if they're expecting fans of the non glamorous clubs to keep forking out £15 a shot to watch them.
David Kelly 1837
West Brom v Burnley on Monday. They really should be paying people to watch that.

Howmanheyman 43933
They might have a rethink for the next round of televised announcements and leave their favourite clubs off the pick and promote; 'Sleepy Sunday!!! Burnley v Southampton!! Dynamic Dyche's men clash with Ersatz Klopp's Southampton followed by the battle of the ex-England and Croatia bosses, Palace of Croydon v the men from the black country, West Brom......And it's live!!!!....... .....Also, if you're interested, cool if you're not, Liverpool v Man U and Arsenal v Spurs for £14.99 each on PPV. No pressure.'

It’s not like it’s going to lower league clubs right? A day after that bellend masters pleaded with the government to empathize with supporters as well . Cock. We’ve been told for a while now that season ticket money isn’t too important to the running of a Premier League football club.

Sonatine 13479
https://www.football365.com/news/liverpool-man-utd-drive-project-big-picture-premier-leageue-control Quote Liverpool and Manchester United have been working together on a proposal that would see a radical set of changes in English football. The Daily Telegraph – who have brought ‘Project Big Picture’ to light after seeing a ‘Revitalisation’ document – say it would be ‘the biggest shake-up in football in a generation’. We’re inclined to agree, it’s bonkers. The working document – written by Liverpool’s American ownership Fenway Sports Group with reported support from United – is expected to be backed by the other members of the Big Six, Manchester City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. The remarkable proposals include reducing the Premier League to 18 teams, the abolishment of the League Cup and Community Shield, a play-off tournament involving both Championship and Premier League clubs, increased EFL funding and – here’s the kicker – a controlling stake in decision-making for the nine clubs who have been in the Premier League the longest. What’s more, only six of those ‘long-term shareholders’ will be required to make major changes, including amending rules and having the ability to veto a new owner taking over a rival club. Six you say? What an interesting number. Edited October 11, 2020 by Sonatine

Sonatine 13479
From the Beeb Quote It is also planned that, as well as the 'big six', ever-present league member Everton, West Ham United and Southampton - ninth and 11th respectively in the list of clubs who have featured in the most Premier League seasons - would be granted special status. If six of those nine clubs vote in favour of a proposal, it would be enough to get it passed. There is no mention of Aston Villa and Newcastle United, both of whom have featured in more Premier League campaigns than Manchester City.
Howay 12496
Well I think it’s pretty fair to say all that stuff about Liverpool and Manchester United influencing the PL’s “decision” on the Saudi bid looks a little more truthful. Blatant power grab, one which would ruin football. I know it’s a fairly closed shop as is but this would weld the door shut, having a select group of clubs decide who new owners can be ffs. I mean as things stand they’d need 14 clubs to agree, whoever sides with the 6 bellends besides the obvious 3 clubs that will get a rush of blood to their head from being fairly absurdly included in this, all want their heads examined. Saw a quote from the EFL bloke backing this too and he’s giving it the full “well we need to help clubs lower down the chain” bullshit, why can’t we just do that bit of the plan and leave out giving the entire game to a few clubs then? Fucking arseholes. Edited October 11, 2020 by Howay

Polarboy 2770
I agree with Mark Douglas in that Parry's position should hopefully be untenable now. If indeed Liverpool and Manure had a big hand in his appointment, it seems he's tried to pay back their help in all too obvious ways. Parry clearly hasn't got too much going on between the ears, and he clearly hasn't read Machiavelli, the Art of War etc. The most annoying thing about this is that Parry will likely be the fall guy without Manure and Liverpool getting much blow back. Actually to be more accurate the most annoying outcome would be for them to be able shove everything through, and just wear all the bad PR like the shameless cunts that they are. With what the Premier League have said about it that seems very unlikely thankfully. The funny thing is that this plan sounds exactly like something Masters would be for, but he's obviously at least slightly more intelligent than Parry in that he knows the plan was too transparent, and that the PL can't afford much more negative publicity. Howay 12496
The fucking clip of this England starting line up man 3 right backs, and then Dier and Rice ffs. Complete fucking waste giving the talent coming through to Gareth Southgate and Aidy Bothroyd.
Polarboy 2770
England have decent players, but an absolute muppet in Southgate as coach. I'd be very surprised if any of the young players in the squad respect his authority. All that stuff with Foden and Greenwood seems to support that notion. They likely think who's this big nosed twat to be telling me anything. Although I suppose young rich players not taking authority seriously is a big problem for the vast majority of managers.
