I understand owning a club as a advertising vehicle or as a rich mans plaything or even a wealthy fan, but are they really a worthwhile investment for rich backers. Has she mentioned the whys. Expand I think it makes a certain kind of sense tbh. The club could be a lot bigger than it is - she'll just be looking to maximise ROI potential over 5 years or something. Otherwise it is an ongoing cash drain mainly due to player wages. Even if you look at Chelsea who have been successful and built a new brand they still owe/or he wrote off about 700 million plus. Expand NUFC is a pretty well run club though (financially), and the recent influx of supercash might well be a game changer.
