Hopefully he's not too bad. Poor bloke misses a fair bit of football but always comes back strong. Fingers crossed.

His body language didnt look good.

When Howe is saying in the post-match presser "doesn't look good for Joe or Sandro" you know they're both fucked and out for some time.

If there's any doubt at all, his response would have been "we need to assess them both, too early at this stage".

Might need to pull the cheque book out for Frattesi now. Hopefully wasn't just agent talk.

Ramsey looked excellent when he came on and there's willock in reserve but neither can play anything like Sandro. Not many can to be fair.

He was in tears and was miming that something had snapped. Looked to be his groin or quad. Looks like Ramsey is going to get plenty of game time at LCM. Looks like Miley is going to be getting more Champions League games under his belt too. As it stands we don't have a CM on the bench.

We have Willock but appreciate he's about as reliable as a politician.

You could tell Joe knew it was a bad one.

The fact Sandro was able to play on for ten minutes after his injury gives me some hope it isn’t a dislocation but the way he was carrying his arm didn’t look great either. If it’s a dislocation it’s usually months out and one those injuries that can quite easily go again 😭

I hope Big Joe's OK, he did himself proud last night (no red card). The only way the bustards got him off the pitch was him being hurt. Hopefully it's not as bad as it seemed

Big chance for Miley to grow.

i think we’ll be splashing the cash though (or trying to) if Big Joe and Sandro are out for a while.

The way he walked off the pitch was hugely concerned. His arm was prone. Not a dislocation, more likely muscle or nerve damage. I had a trapped nerve in my shoulder joint 3-4 years ago - with physio it can be sorted but it's a few weeks at least. A muscle tear, I don't want to think about.

Either that or a loan to cover.

Paqueta, anyone?

Mint that Joelinton's smoking wife is giving us injury updates.

Need the same now from Tonali's ludicrous bit of stuff.

Suggestion seems to be that his shoulder dislocated and went back in itself. 12 to 16 weeks recovery time if that's the case per Dr Google. 😬

I had sublocation of my hip years ago. Was 6 months before I was given the green light to play sport again.

The hip is a joint between your leg and your body, you shoulder is the joint between your arm and your body, but apart from that it's exactly the same.

“He’s very driven. Will has a great attitude to his work, to his career. He’s very ambitious, he wants to play as all players do.

“But I think he’s now justifying that by his training performances. We’ve done a lot of work with him and we’ll continue to do that for his benefit to try and get him to be the very best player he can be.”
