If Downie is on point, then...

Strand Larsen @ £60m

Wissa @ £45m

Isak goes to Liverpool for £120m and I reckon we've already agreed at that point he must hand a transfer request in because he's been a tosser.

If you're then looking at him forgoing a load of ££ then that's not the worst outcome.

£33m left to amortise.

C£5m representing 10% sell on fee on profit

Looking at a £23m outlay noting that new £105m is going to be amortised over 4 to 5 years anyway. Not horrendous given everyone clearly wants Isak gone.

Or more likely we sign no fucker and this isak shit drags on and curtails the season further.

I seen we've loosely been linked with Mainoo. Would be a superb fit for us despite him being largely unused since injury. Amorim would be a tit letting him go.

no outcome whereby the murderers who've undoubtedly spent the best part of half a year unsettling and tapping the cunt up to say nowt of the fucking outrageous disrespect the skinny piece of scum has shown to the club, his team mates, and our support are the losers is acceptable.

id rather the cunt was hit over the head with a lump hammer and chucked in a pig sty.

Oh Man United and Liverpool, two clubs so badly done to by PSR. Get fucked Jordan Campbell.

Similar to that rubbish BBC article Wykiki linked the other day. That article compared Villa's sale of local players to satisfy PSR to ManU choosing to sell McTominay. A player who looked finished as a footballer prior to escaping the ManU meatgrinder.

It's a ridiculous comparison. The Sky6 sell because it benefits them (at least in their summation) to do so. They sell players they believe don't have a future at the club to be replaced by international superstars. In the case of ManU it may even be partially also that the local lads know what the club is and aren't blinded by what it was and so are happy to escape it.

Clubs outside that fantasy land like us, Villa, Forest and whoever else, we sell our players because we're fucking forced to.

These journalists have some nerve to make apples to apples comparisons here. I haven't read this most recent article, but that BBC article was pure trash trying to insinuate that Villa's problems were (at least debatably) caused by their own negligence. Ignoring the fact, that no other club in the history of English football has had to sell players to satisfy arbitrary financial rules.

Villa's "problems" are artificial. They didn't create them. PSR did. My point is that Wykiki should have his ability to link "interesting" articles removed.

Downie reckons Jackson is available on a loan with an option. I’d be tempted to go for that at this stage, instead of paying over the odds for Strand Larsen. We can have a look at Jackson over the season then fuck him off back to Chelsea in the summer if he doesn’t do the business and go again on a proper Isak replacement.

Id take him over Wissa.  He's younger and Wor Eddie can do his magic.

Spot on that. The difference between the established elite selling players considered surplus to requirements (or at least not guaranteed much game time) and the likes of us, Forest and Villa selling players purely to satisfy PSR is huge.

Muani is potentially back to Juve for €55m. How can a bloke with one half decent season at wolves behind him be worth more than a French international who has played for PSG and Juve?

 I love these guys throwing names about on who's available.  As if their agent hasn't thought about contacting us and our management or scouting team considering them

Kobe Mainoo sounds like he is available.

He got thrust into the limelight too early but there is a player in there. I’d imagine he’d be a good 8 and Howe would mould I’m into a class act.

That would be an awesome move in my opinion. He's good already but Howe would really improve him.

I hope his career goes down in flames and he's attempting bicycle kicks in the third division of some no mark European league in a few years' time, whilst he wrestles with drinking and gambling addictions.

Not that I'm bitter or anything.....

Maybe we should go for Hojlund after all, solely on the basis that players who look dogshit at Man Utd tend to come good the minute they move away

£60m not enough for strand larsen, a man wolves paid £25m for *checks notes* a month ago

Remind me how much we paid for an unknown Swedish striker not exactly pulling up trees in La Liga?

FFS. I’m left thinking we missed out on a low risk opportunity here. This transfer window has officially fucked me
