I never particularly rated him but didn't really see a lot of him and he would've done the dirty work, I think it was bad timing for Taylor as some genuinely world class talent were ending their careers and what was immediately following weren't the same calibre although he dropped a bollock dropping Beardsley who still had a couple of years in him. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

He was never an international footballer. Geoff Thomas was actually a decent player (before a bad injury) but he was mocked for an awful attempt at a chip (I think by Skinner & Baddiel) in an international game.
