Then making out like it was his idea that the club should sack him and appoint Howe. I remember he was dressed up in his Sunday best for Spurs game instead of his usual ketchup-stained tracksuit like it was a job interview, the massive fucking liar - he was desperate to keep the job 1
Dougle 4598
What got me about that match whislt sitting there in me overly expensive posh seat (with extra padding and heating btw) was the utter vitriol towards the useless cunt, yet the chants to get the fucker out were “we want Brucie out, we want Brucie out” FFUCKING ‘Brucie’ ??!? His little cutsie pie name. And I was singing it too ffs

I never particularly rated him but didn't really see a lot of him and he would've done the dirty work, I think it was bad timing for Taylor as some genuinely world class talent were ending their careers and what was immediately following weren't the same calibre although he dropped a bollock dropping Beardsley who still had a couple of years in him.
Holden McGroin 9909
Palmer covered the ground well and was a nuisance but he was awful on the ball and technically bad. He was never an international footballer. Geoff Thomas was actually a decent player (before a bad injury) but he was mocked for an awful attempt at a chip (I think by Skinner & Baddiel) in an international game. It’s not like we could say, ‘once he’s been Howe’d etc’ He rarely got a run in the team and was often played out of what appears to be his best role/position. You look at how he played for Forest last season, and how he's now looking totally at home on the international stage. He's clearly an exceptional midfielder and I'd love him in a black and white shirt again. I wouldn't pay £60m for the privilege though, as I think there are other talents out there we could sign for less.
