Only about £10m from us.

Yep - I can't add up!

About £11m in total, £9m from us.

Having seen Keith Downies last few videos, I've got the feeling he's trying to soften us all up for a deal involving Nunez And I think he has decent connections to know what's going on.

I think the Sesko deal is dead in the water sadly.

Sky confirming Isak's whereabouts. So he didn't travel for preseason because of injury but manage to travel to Spain despite his injury. What a fucking cunt.

"Deader than a dead thing from dead land"

Historically, deals being dead have worked out okay for us tbf

I mean you're essentially right with your conclusion but he didn't travel in pre-season because he wasn't fit enough to play, not because he wasn't fit enough to fly.

Don't fucking try to rationalise things when I'm being irrational...

I'm sure he could have trained with the rest of the squad and not played though 😉

If PSR wasn't issue I'd love to do this. But its not practical and its also not worth having a bad influence around the place.

We could do it for one season anyway. It would cost us his wages but there would be plenty of interested clubs next summer with time to prepare and get involved in a bidding war. And given this is a WC season I can't see him completely downing tools.

Surely we'd get more value in using Harvey Elliott in this example. A young player with excellent technical ability who can carve open stubborn defences (a skill we actually lack) - and who they've been touting around since the end of the season.

Funny you mention Harvey Elliot, he was a Fulham player that the world's greatest club tapped up in the last year of his contract, so it would be somewhat ironic that they use a player they previously tapped up as part of a deal to get their latest object of desire.

If he doesn’t play for a year his value will plummet. He is riding as wave at the moment so now will be peak time to sell.

Not that any of this matters. Liverpool will get their man before the deadline slams shut.

Not disagreeing that he's acting the cunt, but travelling to multiple countries of varying climates just to train with the squad with an 'injury' would have been silly. Apparently he's ice cold on and off the pitch.

But it's OK for him to travel to a completely different country with a different climate to ours to train in isolation?

We should agree to sell him this summer, but with the condition that it can't be to a club who do not play in the English Premier League. If he wants that move he has to wait 12 months. He's then got 3 options:

1. Take a move abroad now.
2. Go on strike for 12 months and allow his value / effectiveness / demand fall off a cliff.
3. Suck it up and give his all for 12 months to prove he's worthy of his dream move.

I worried about his long term durability anyway. At his peak undoubtedly truly world class but it's not often enough that he's at his peak. Maybe he wants to play somewhere where he isn't expected to press as much as a result, though Liverpool is not exactly the best place for that.

To me this just makes it even clearer that with Howe and the rest of the staff in Asia, there's nobody left in this country holding the reins.

If we had any sort of executive management structure in place, they'd have put a stop to this.

I assume this is another thing that will be left for Howe to fix when the squad gets back from Asia. It's certainly another thing he's gonna be made to look like a cunt for the next time he sits in front of the press.

Listening to TalkSport (I know) and Simon Jordan (I know) fucking hates agents and has pretty much said that he's (Isak) has been advised badly and he's basically been tapped up and been disrupted by Liverpool.

I bet he's dying to see how many thick as fuck journalists ask him the same question dressed up slightly differently about Isak.

At what point does Howe decide the structure above him is a fucking circus that he no longer wants any part of. That's the biggest concern of all for me - we lose him and we'll be seriously fucked.

Should imagine Elagna is wondering what the fuck he's let himself in for as well!
