The Salah situation is down to a number of things for me, and Isak is none of them:

- no Trent providing balls over the top (it's no coincidence for me that Salah went missing in the Carabao Cup Final when Trent wasn't playing)

- his legs have gone

- he's got his lucrative payday from Liverpool and is now probably wanting his last hurrah in Saudi

The outright hypocrisy of sections of the Liverpool fans having a go at him who also dared to suggest Isak was within reason to go on strike to force his move is laughable. Neither situation is acceptable.

On the payday bit, I remember reading over the summer that loyalty bonuses and so on are such that the selling club has to pay up the contract if they make the sale? If that's true, and they sell him in January, they're going to owe Salah about £30m.

If that is the case, that's the reason I'm going with for his outburst  'loves the club'. Sure.

I watched last night's match on premier sports, which I'm gonna take a punt on being from the emerald isle being as every fucker on it, commentators, pundits etc were all irish. didn't know who any of them were barring shay given but the cunts mentioned on numerous occasions the rat's lack of a preseason. fucking pathetic man at this point.

at 26 year old I was smoking enough cannabis to keep howard marks very busy, dropping enough acid to make albert hoffman proud of his achievements and liberty caps were struggling to produce enough spores to keep me in psilocybin.

on top of that, if every fucking adult in this country had simultaneously packed in drinking I would've singlehandedly kept all the breweries ticking over at a reasonable profit. I was making a canny attempt at getting me leg over most nights too.

despite that I'd have been fucking mortified with meself if an elite football club with all its trainers, facilities, dieticians and sports scientists etc couldn't have licked me in to shape in four months never mind a young bloke who's spent most of his life as a professional footballer.

have some fucking dignity man and stop making excuses for the skinny fucking cunt and tell the truth.

he's not suffering because he missed half a dozen friendly kick abouts with newcastle in july, he's turned to shit because of his own fucking disgusting attitude.

Even Carragher is now saying the preseason stuff is bollocks and it's an excuse that can no longer be used to explain what's going on with him.

I wonder what it would take for him to erase the noise around the transfer debacle and his form since?

Would he need a 15 goal haul from the second half of the season? Would he need a full season at Liverpool as the main man? Would he need a new manager? Or will it take him moving clubs again?

A team attempting to play with (a very good tbf) player like Wirtz isn't going to be right for Isak because Isak needs to be running into the space occupied by Wirtz. He's at his best when he receives the ball in space between the edge of the centre circle and the penalty box unopposed by defenders. He then sizes up his best option. He needs that space to do his best work. If Liverpool have got a player in that space it moves the point of attack closer to the defenders and Isak doesn't have the space to operate :cuppa:

howay mate.

cunt's as skinny as a pencil lead, he'd have plenty of space around him if he was stood on a five pence piece.

I wonder where we would have been if we had kept hold of the rat.

Probably would’ve still been on strike. I don’t think the club realistically had that option. He burnt all his bridges
