The way he talks while he’s playing in training is really good, telling Bruno what to do for example. He will be a superstar if he stays long term.

Aye, if those players have any ambition at all they’ll be looking at that record of Derby’s and thinking ‘we could smash that’.

Lose to Coventry at home and go out - win Lose the playoff final - win Get promoted and get relegated by February - win
-
Only if they want it on the side of a pig though.
-
I honestly don’t know if I’d prefer the instant payoff of seeing them knocked out of the playoffs or enjoying a full season of them getting hammered in the PL.

They’re using the wrong printer. Give me a bell Darren and I’ll get you sorted.

I think you might be thinking of this: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Vietnam_War_(TV_series) It was definitely shown in BBC4 and then I think it was on Netflix or Prime. Not sure where you can steam it now, possibly on YouTube though? Ken Burns has made some great documentary series. There was a one on Ernest Hemingway and another one on Muhammad Ali that were excellent. I’m only really into late 50s / early 60s Jazz (and even then only a little bit) but I even thought his series in the history of Jazz was well worth watching. There other ones like a series about Prohibition and the American civil war which were pretty epic. What really sets that Vietnam War one apart though is all the contemporary footage available due to the unprecedented access (not seen before or since) that journalists and filmmakers had. Absolutely superb is 100% spot on.

I watched some of this, as TBD says, it was epically bad. Unless either team luck out on some good season long loan deals they're absolutely fucked if they get promoted. The quality was atrocious.

Keto diet going well then? Bread looks superb mate.

Aye that’s one of the things I don’t understand. A logo is about brand identity and our logo is one of the most identifiable out there. It seems pointless to change it and start again.

We spent £15m on Osulu who I doubt will ever make the grade here. But if he does that will be down to Howe and his team. I don't think DCL or Ferguson are ideal to be honest but I'd hazard a guess Howe would get more out of the latter especially with the best years in front of him (hopefully). Lets see what Big Mitch can conjure up.

Generic small time football blather thread FOREVER

Always sensible to get murdered during the grading process. End up in a lower division where you can shine. Or not. 🙂 -
I was thinking that when Wyki was talking about the Vietnam war at school. At his age I was learning about the Napoleonic wars and earlier. When did history get so recent? 🙁

After seeing about 3000 marginally different AI generated variations of a new club logo in the last 24 hours I'm hopeful that the next graphic design expert to fill out a prompt will finally crack the code with the placement of the magpie(s), the castle, the river and the contentious matter of stars and foundation year. It's in your hands now Ian from Byker.
