  1. Past hour
  2. fairly sure Vitor Reis has played twice. one being brief. think Pep has thought the risk of bedding new players into his system was too great if the old guard are fit. we only need them to cost us 1 point and it might cost us CL football. think they'll feature much more next season.
  3. They should have 3 games on the go: Forest v Chelsea Newcastle v Everton Man Utd v Villa
  4. i think he's just trying to manage expectations over signings. the official squad size registered with the premier league is 21. even with the january transfers. ofc young players are excluded from the 25 man limit so aren't listed in the 21. Nico and Marmoush are included in the 21. in january we were struggling to put a team out and the signings, which were supposedly meant for this summer, were rushed through.
  5. Sky Sports have announced their selected matches for this coming weekend: Forest v Chelsea - no surprise there! Liverpool v Palace - WTF?! 2 teams with absolutely fuck all to play for - Palace can move up a maximum 2 places in the league but that's all. All this, to televise a trophy lift! What a pile of shit
  6. And she's going to the women's CL final instead of the playoff final. It's like she's had a bet to see if she can get nutted next time she goes home.
  7. Oh it's getting worse. Predictions for the weekend. Jill Scott: Newcastle'll win this. Sayunt Jamyumses Park. The reverence in her voice when she named the ground. Oof.
  8. Has anyone checked on the mackems today? Jill Scott, sat in a Sunderland shirt on her podcast with Neville and them, saying: That midfield three at Newcastle, I don't think there's anyone better than them. Eddie Howe as her nomination for manager of the season.. ... And the worst of them all. They asked for moment of the season and she was first out of the gate saying Newcastle winning the league cup. That's her disowned.
  9. Poor presentation. Very poor.
  10. Nah, he’s always liked smaller squads at City. Obviously they bought more players than normal in January so the squad is a bit bloated for his liking. I doubt the board will be pushing him to keep more players than he wants to.
  11. Point is he presumably asked for these players so he’s created this large squad he’s now complaining about? So he’s maybe virtually demanding sales to cut it down? It doesn’t make sense which usually means it’s someone looking for a way out…
  12. Today
  13. Eur 205m, and Marmoush is the only one we've seen regularly. Expected Nico Gonzalez to feature a lot more for younger legs in midfield but got sidelined after a brief look (but enjoyed his brief cameo and goal last night). Khusanov had a nightmare first 10mins (chelsea, i think) but then started to look good (and quick) before being dropped and not seen since. I don't think I've seen Reis at all yet. Whether Pep was giving the old guard a last hurrah before giving these guys time, who knows, but lets hope that is not outgoing cash that is already being written off! (For the sake of the players as well as the club)
  14. simpleton. the outcome would apply to either team, being as they play each other. being embarrassingly pernickety doesn't make you look clever, just a cunt.
  15. Careful TBD this fuckers on the verge of getting his lass' red marker pen out.
  16. Can you explain the Chelsea/Forest column please? When it says W and L who's winning and who's losing, cos they can't both do it. I MEAN FOR FUCKS SAKE.
  17. i heard it and yes he said it but i think it's a little bit of the way some guys speak with exaggeration to emphasize points. not really the english way so sounds odd. you'll laugh but it is a fact that city normally go into every season with a small squad. by which i mean less than 25. our registered squad this season has 21 players (fewer than Arsenal) - premier league squads (includes Gonzalez and Marmoush but excludes Walker) that doesn't include some kids like OReilly and Bobb but does the likes of McAtee small squad makes it harder to manage significant injuries this season. Rodri, Stones and Ake appearances are rarer than a dodo. and there were many other long term injuries. no sympathy asked for as i know i'd get none.. don't care either as thats not what footballs about. back to your point. KDB leaving. he's one of the highest paid players at the club but starts less than 50% of games. his performances are not what they were. high class moments mask his mistakes. so its probably the right time. also city need to manage the post KDB era and i'd like to have Pep in charge for that. other leavers ? defence... i can see Stones going back to everton, but either way i think his time is done. Ake's injuries worse. think his time is up too. Walker - milan don't want him but i doubt we see him back Akanji seems to have lost a yard this season after his injuries. i think we'll 1 maybe 2 fullbacks midfield (currently full of uncles).... Uncle Kev off. Uncle Gundo has triggered 1 year extension Uncle Kovacic is a stop gap. love him but he's old. Uncle Bernados legs have gone as has his zip and zestiness attack... grealish time feels like it might be up. he's been tried more central so who knows, Savinho seems to be struggling to make a real impact but many players do in their first season at city. wow, i see why the missus says i go on about football too much!
  18. I specifically didn't use Isak as an example because the same thought occurred to me That said, I doubt anyone on the Arsenal side would have been able to keep that quiet if it were true.
  19. The support given from Akrotiri is the key to the blood on UK hands imo. Materially and with "intelligence" given the number of "Oh dear we seem to have bombed a refugee camp/school/hospital!/nursery" incidents.
  20. you think maybe this is why isak didn't play against arsenal?
  21. It is a bit odd in a way though. Imagine Chelsea go in to sign Elanga from Forest and the deal gets wrapped up in the past few weeks. Is the player going to be able to play properly knowing that if he helps Forest win, he won't play CL football next year? I appreciate that they could just drop him, but it's still a bit weird as a scenario.
  22. Naah, you were right the first time, even by SW standards, Solo was truly shit. I bought the fucker on Blu ray too.
  23. oy @Gemmill, look at this for a chart, eat your fucking heart out and weep.....
