  1. Past hour
  2. they got that thread hidden away in the secret bit mate?
  3. Merge with the Tories down the line, liquidate Reform's assets and he's quids in.
  4. Boehly will need to sell another hotel to compete here.
  5. This is beyond desperate like. The culture war failed because people care about money in their pockets much more. This is likely to backfire imo but the campaign is going so badly that they’re just giving it another go
  6. Get a decent pension too don't you? And a redundancy payment when you eventually lose at the polls. You might be right here that this is just feathering his nest for retirement.
  7. It's fucking WILD btw that at the time of the Brexit campaign Farage would have been 4 years older than I am now. He's looked 60 for 20 years.
  8. This is it for me. I don’t think he’ll cross to the Tories and/or become their leader. I do agree it’s plausible but I think it’s more likely they’ve done extensive research into where they regard is the best chance of him winning. You mentioned the previous research commissioned by Banks. What I think will actually be in Farage’s mind is a seat in the commons to replace his former EU grift. He’ll use it as a platform to constantly be on GBeebies, etc. and rinse the expenses to the hilt. He’s not a serious politician. He’s a populist con man who says everything is shite without any solutions
  9. How pathetic is this btw? I hope people remember Brianna Ghey. The conservatives campaign couldn't be more pathetic if you tried.
  10. He'll be 70 in two GEs time too.
  11. He's 53% owner of Reform isn't he? There'll be some financial grift in there for him from running, no doubt.
  12. Villa getting Ross Barkley for £5m is good work mind. For that fee if it doesn't work out it doesn't matter.
  13. And then if we consider that a 200-300 seat majority for Labour should see them in power for at least a decade then it’ll be an extremely long game he’s playing with no guarantee of success… so yeah, it’s unlikely to be successful even if it does happen..
  14. Honestly, based on performances in the second half of this season, he's not worth 10m. But only Newcastle is subject to fair value scrutiny when selling to Saudi. Everyone else can take the absolute piss.
  15. The rule does seem pretty pointless. Basically you have to show that at "some level" the clubs are independent of each other. We're certainly not the first multi club organization to be allowed to compete. As an example,RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg have been deemed okay for years. That's my only grounds for justification tbh. Also i think we "only" own 49% of Girona, but i'm not 100% on that as i haven't seen the paperwork.
  16. Yeah, very plausible. But would a tory party led by Farage be remotely electable? I'm not sure it would tbh.
  17. No I suspect that's probably what he's going for. If he's running. Defections is another possibility I hadn't considered earlier.
  18. The other thing this announcement later could be is a handful of Tory - > Reform defections.
  19. 1. Farage runs and is elected MP for Clacton next month. 2. In the inevitable turmoil/post mortem of the post Sunak Tory party he crosses the floor and is elected as Tory party leader? … or is that just fuckin ridiculous?
  20. I think this ruling proves the point of the rule. Or more to the point, who it applies to.
  21. Apparently Seaburn has fallen. Cue several hundred pages on the Land Lady being a slag. Classy.
  22. Dear me. What's the point in having the rule ffs.
  23. Today
