I was on it for a while for anxiety but the side effects were intolerable. I'm not sure if I thought it helped or not, maybe it did. It's really hard to say with some of these sorts of things. I just use Beta Blockers now for days when I'm particularly bad and beyond that call it quits. Hope you're well anyway Andrew, but sounds like the right decision to get off them given the side effects. I'm told different drugs can have wildly varying responses from different people, another type may be better for you.

Saw a group of lasses in Berwick with one lad who I assumed were getting the train down for the Sam Fender concert as one of the lasses was wearing a NUFC shirt. Nobody applauded though so it was a sombre sight and I'm sure any onlookers were secretly disapproving whilst admiring the Sunderland shirt which nobody wore.

Cheers, the actual mental side is fairly light, but it feeds into some quite persistent stomach issues i've had this year that Id really like to properly deal with.

50mg which is apparently pretty standard. I imagine I'm in a small category of people who get such an adverse reaction to it, hence it being the first thing I was tried on. Going on holiday this week then I'll be back to hopefully try something I react to less. Currently the anxiety is preferable 😅

What dosage did they give you? I didn’t think many people got side effects from it.

Among other things I was prescribed Sertraline this week as the first SSRI/Antidepressant I've ever been on. HOLY FUCKING SHIT I was not prepared for the side effects, from wednesday to saturday I didn't eat a bit of solid food because I was the worlds most nauseous man. Fuck that.
