  1. Now you know how Natalie Imbruglia felt, but I know what you you mean about old book covers and that, but, it would be good having them all in the same place. Cheers, Gemmill.
  2. Good lad! I'll make sure I see you alright when I get my new glasses.
  3. I hope it's as straightforward as it looks plus am hoping I can get some of my books I already have on the cheap!
  4. I've just bought the kindle wi-fi, (don't think I need the 3G for the extra £40) so am hoping it's worth it, when it comes.
  5. What I hate is the gamesmanship that goes on in this division and how dopey referees don't spot it and allow these teams to break up play by feigning serious injury, getting play stopped then 'sportingly' humping the ball back to Tim Krul. This has to be coached into these players by the likes of Sham and Mark 'Id love to spark the cunt' 'Sparky' Hughes, as I didn't see much of it last year.
  6. No doubt lost in Torquay looking for you Welcome back TR, had a read of your thread and it sounds like you've had a time of it. Hope thing keep picking up for you. btw do yourself a favour when reading other's posts. If the tone and style of it reminds you of a previous poster, it's probably them. I read it too and echo what Sammynb said, even though I'm a newbie, (hopefully not a rent-a-mong though!) Anyway, this site could always do with an extra bit of blurt female posters to brighten the place up. cheers Newbie! I will do my best to liven things up I'm sure you will, mon cherie a'mour.
  7. Just got back from the Doctors, he said I was a paranoid racist! Well, he never actually said it, but that's what the black cunt was thinking.

  9. I really hope the mackem who called his kid Rueben was joking and as for the one who said his mate called his son Kenwynne, fucking hell!
  10. Where from, sir? From this site. I put 'football shirts' in the search and that's where I found it. It's a fake from Thailand which the seller craftily hid and I bollocked him for. When alls said and done though, it's a very good fake.
  11. 1. Was pissed as a fart last night but have a surprisingly mild hangover. 2. Had some leftover pizza last night when I got in but have absolutely no recollection of eating it and the only evidence is the empty pizza box. 3. I'm off today and would love to have a bit of peace an quiet with the house to myself as my daughters are at school but the missus is also in the house so there goes the fucking peace and quiet bit. 4. I've somehow lost all the music and photos from my phone so am going to have to try to get them back on but I can't be arsed at the minute because of fact 1. 5. I bought a West Germany adidas shirt from the 1986 world cup because it was cheap and it came yesterday so I put it on this morning and I now know I need to lose a couple of pounds as it's a little tight.
  12. If you've got kids then a trip to disney/Paris is highly recommended. It's just a short trip away by train from Paris. I've been a few times and I'm a right 'loada-shite' type bloke, but the girl's loved it.
  13. He's been charged by the FA, but apparently there won't be a ban, however Mrs Nolan might want to put an extra plate out for tea tonight.
  14. Why are you playing when there's a home game on? (or have I missed something?)
  15. This game was always going to be shite. You couldn't expect the players to play well four games in a row. You just hoped we'd sneak at least a point out of tonight. I just knew this was going to be tough. They were the fucking anti-christ of football by the way, with no little help from their manager.
  16. Can you not read you bellsniff? There wasn't eNyff room.
  17. We're protesting this post. Well there's a worthy cause.
  18. What are they protesting about? Is it that Bob Holness and Blockbusters isn't on the telly any more? Or perhaps it's fact that despite wanting to have their own individual 'look', they all end up looking the same, which is a right fucking clip?
  19. Put me down as a 'possible'.
  20. My answer would be similar to this ^ Luck very much played a part because of the risk of not coming straight back up. However we'd have continued to do nowt in the prem anyway if we'd stayed up and would have gone down eventually anyway I'm pretty convinced of that. We'd been on the decline for years. That's what could've happened, very plausible, but we could've been seriously fucked for years due to this oaf getting us needlessly relegated. Still reckon we got lucky. A clear out was needed but relegation wasn't.
  21. We're good enough to get six points, but Arsenal were good enough to get three off us. Attitude is the important thing.
  22. It has to be said, our record at home to these and our next opponents, Fulham is fucking awful. I put this down to the same effect where Boro seem to constantly get decent results against Man U but we don't. Players and fans mentally switch off and don't take them seriously, next thing you know, you're playing shit, one down and chasing the game. When Man U play us, even if we have a shit team, they'll walk out at SJP, feel the atmosphere, look at the surroundings and take it very seriously with Fergie drumming this to them, they won't do this at the Riverside though. We need to be completely aware that we're in for a game on wednesday and saturday as anything less than total commitment will see us with 0-1 points out the pair of these games. We can't afford a 'its only Blackburn/Fulham' attitude. I know it sounds churlish after the last three results we've had in the league, but I'll be gutted and very disappointed with 'this group of players' if we let it slip in the next two home games through a blase attitude.
