a bit like the word "Gullible" isn't in the Oxford English dictionary.
  3. The quality in holland isn't great though hence why all the top players are abroad Klass Jan Huntelaar Too late REAL MADRID have splashed out £17million on Dutch strike star Klaas Jan Huntelaar. The Ajax favourite, 25, will move to the Bernabeu in January. He has agreed a four-and-a-half year deal and his transfer fee could rise to a potential £23m. A statement from Real Madrid read: “Huntelaar is the new Real Madrid player. Real Madrid and Ajax Amsterdam have reached an agreement for the forward. “As usual, the deal is dependent on the player passing a medical and the signing of his contract with Real Madrid. “Klaas Jan Huntelaar will be tied to Real Madrid until June 30, 2013.” Huntelaar is currently sidelined by an ankle injury which is set to rule him out until early 2009. But when fit he will be eligible for this season's Champions League after only playing in the UEFA Cup with Ajax.
  4. I had to look that up. What a class phrase btw. Fonzy. I always use that phrase with regards to The Wire. FYP
  5. Not sure at all about this one, Speed versus Power, DLH is on the decline, but he might just be too big for Pacman, this fight is at Welterweight rather than Pacquiao's natural Lightweight.
  6. De La Hoya is in good company when it comes to crimes against music
  7. I think you can only buy and sell in the manager mode, the manager mode is different from the league mode in which you can start in Coca-Cola league 2, so you'd have to do your buying and selling before starting your league. not 100% sure if this is correct.
  8. Six-weight world champion Oscar de la Hoya will fight WBC lightweight world champion Manny Pacquiao in a non-title bout on 6 December in Las Vegas. The fight, which the 35-year-old De la Hoya refused to label his last, will take place at the MGM Grand. "My focus is on my next fight. I am not going to talk about retiring," said the American, who has won 10 world titles in all. "I am going to give 100% of my focus to this fight and then we will see." De la Hoya had been scheduled to fight Floyd Mayweather on 20 September before his countryman announced his retirement in June this year. De la Hoya rose to fame by winning a gold medal for the United States at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona where he earned the nickname "Golden Boy". Since then he has won titles at six different weight classes and boasts a record of 39-5 that includes 20 knockouts. His last victory, over American Steve Forbes, came in May. Filipino Pacquiao, 29, has built up a huge following back home and he believes he can upset his opponent by utilising his greater speed. "I'm faster and younger and I think I can beat him, it is going to be a great fight," he said.
  9. I'd agree with this. The number of threads that get derailed by this wanker is ridiculous. And saying "he's a WUM, just ignore him" is daft, because some people clearly can't ignore him. If he goes, the problem goes - and he is a problem because he's dragging this place down by constantly looking for and getting a reaction from certain people. The job of the mods is to stop stuff like that happening. Time they did their job. To be fair if we got rid of all the pricks on here you would have been banned a long time ago... quite right but the main reason we don't instantly ban people for being pricks is that there would be no mods or admins left either

  14. Sorry if this is old news but: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0374463/
  15. You can blame the Spurds dullard who created the original thread for that.
  16. Bloody Hell, its a bit abbatoir! Good mind. Its one of my favourite films, the last hour of it is just fantastic. Watched it yesterday and expected very little, but it gave me the most enjoyment out of any movies I've watched in a very long time. I don't know why it took me so long to watch it tbh. That was exactly my reaction too, I don't think I've ever been so gripped by a film before or since, although my expectation was near zero.
  17. OK brains, how do I cancel ???
