  1. Hughton as well? Anyway, it's bad enough expecting / wanting the manager to be a spineless 'yes' man but hoping to fill a football team with them doesn't strike me as a recipe for success. Cant believe i missed the Hughton debacle out of there, i guess you could possibly add Carroll to that list too? Also looks like Simpson doesnt seem too happy with events either, wouldnt be surprised to see him gone too if he isnt happy with current events A team of mercenaries and yes men is good for no one, and the people who will pay the ultimate price is the fans, not that Ashley and Dekka will do anything about it like
  2. Of course there is. You stop going and don't buy any merchandise. But everybody has to do that, as its the only way to get the fact cockney bastard and his obnoxious little side kick out. That'll never happen though, and if it did, Ashley and Dekka would in turn make a decision which would only go and p*ss us off even more They don't give a sh*t about Newcastle United or the fans, Just Mike Ashley
  3. Looks like they're dispersing anyone who even questions any of there motives Leazes Corner, Barton, Nolan, Enrique, Smith, Harper, Routledge etc
  4. Is the bigger point he made not that Barton wasnt offered a contract and he wanted to stay?.... Barton was offered a contract at Christmas and turned it down. According to the club. Just as Nolan was and then it was just dropped. Offered new contracts to keep them sweet until the end of the season, then get shot of them by the looks of things. Would both still be here had they signed the contracts offered to them in January. The verbal contracts. The one he decided not to sign Quotes the week after he knocked it back. I love how you stopped reading the article after the first sentence. Read the rest of it, then you'll understand why he didnt sign it, because he was unsure what road the club was being taken down, and what these past 8-9 months has proved he's not taking us down a road, but taking us down shit creek without a fucking paddle
  5. They would have signed if Carroll wasnt sold, they didnt sign because they were unsure of the direction the club were taking, looks like they probably done the right thing for themselves in not signing
  6. I find it amazing that we're the only club in the whole of England not run for the fans but in spite of them, and theres nowt we can do about it.
  7. Nay one plays on xbox, otherwise some serious smackdowns would be handed out
  8. Mostly any team who has an ex Newcastle player managing them or whatever like Huddersfield etc And whoever Andriy Shevchenko plays for, one of me favorite players
  9. Really? Gutierrez and Marveaux can play both left and right wing, as too can Ben Arfa. Barton, Gosling, Raylor and Guthrie can play RM. Ferguson can play LM. I'd say out wide we are pretty strong. Same goes for CM actually...Cabaye, Tiote, Barton, Gosling, Guthrie and Smith Midfield is spot on imo. It is upfront and left back which are the more pressing area's to strengthen followed by RB and CB. Honestly Marveaux and Ben Arfa have been out for a long time and I can see them picking up injuries quite a few times this season, but Ben Arfa is more likely to be deployed as a second striker, so once he gets injured, this new 4-5-1 formation that Pardew meant to be playing will fall apart and wont have a natural successor to fill in. Raylor is a championship player and doesnt even know his own position, Gosling and Guthrie are CM's and having them as RM for a long period will have us weakened significantly, plus Gosling has like Marveaux and Barfa come back from a long injury and I can see him picking up niggles and taking a while to hit form We need a bit more pace aswell we need depth in all the right places and not nut square pegs in round holes Vuckic, Abied & Gosling with slip into that role. Bear in mind Gosling has played all down the right and at defensive midfield as well as centre midfield - basically he's very versatile so counting him as merely a CM is completely stupid. Marveaux passed his medical and he's been injured once and I wouldn't say it was 'long term', Ben Arfa only sustained injuries through two red card challenges, I don't understand why either should be a cause for concern. We have pace up front and pace on the wings. Constant requests for 'pace' just look stupid and posted to fill the gaps. ''Won 6-0, good day!'' ''Nah man we need more pace'' Pretty sure he left Everton to join us because he was getting played everywhere apart from CM, and I know he's versatile but CM is his main position, a bit like Guthrie, yes he can play on the right and DM but playing them there over a number of games will more than likely become a hindrence as they arent natural there, and I honestly dont see Vuckic and Abeid as first team players through injury they may appear on the bench, but counting on them to plug a gap of a quality player may be too much? I know Marveaux has been injured once recently but to come back from an inury keeping you out for months on end is hard, especially adapting to a new league, i'm not branding him a crock like people are doing with Ba, but he'll need time to settle in along with Ben Arfa, as he's not a rock but he could pick up niggles on the leg he injured or may struggle to get into full Premier league fitness Apart from Enrique, Jonas, Marveaux, Ben Arfa and Routledge I dont see sheer pace in the team, call me what you want for asking for pace, but I'd rather see a player like Routledge come off the bench than a player like R Taylor to change a game , plus Routledge and Enrique seem to be leaving so that'll leave us with about 3 first team players with pace

  11. I used to get Antunes on the previous FM's, he always used to love to bang in a free-kick like
  12. I still think we need another Winger/Centre attacking mid for the injuries we're gonna get, on top of a striker, LB and RB
  13. Maddy McCann supposedly found pending DNA results I'm not haadin me breath like
  14. Call of Duty isn't what it used to be They took the fun out of Call of Duty's since number 4, I used to love playing Mike Myers and that with Old School mode on and even when you played it online hardly anyone took it seriously, but now theres very little fun to be had with hardly any side games and people taking it way, way too serious getting turtle beaches and that, its proper pathetic
  15. Wouldn't M'Bengue be away to the African Nations in January? So if we did get him we'd be knackered for a month or so with no decent LB cover
  16. Aye I kna, that FTM at the end of the post cracked me up aswell, cringeworthy and embarassing.
  17. Does anyone know if all this advertising of Sports Direct is on a lengthy contract, so say if he does sell-up we might still have to advertise his god-forsaken brand?
  18. Resi 3 was awesome, I remember as a bairn it used to, me and me brother used to argue over who would do the part where you went down the stairs and the Nemesis broke through the window and chased you, we were sh*t-f*cking-scared of that part
  19. Would you be ok with SD being the shirt sponsor? Nope But I'm preparing my anus for it to happen
  20. Wouldnt be surprised to see Arsenal fall out of the top 4 depending on who they sell and who they bring in
