  1. Oops oh yeah. Have to agree with those that said it's a little dull, very pretty in the daytime and nice beer, but the food has been nothing to rave about especially considering the prices, and they really haven't made the most out of the river which is beautiful by daylight but has a serious lack of waterside bars/restaurants (at least for the unorganised unplanned tourist) and poor after dark lighting, which sounds an unusual complaint but the city away from the main area is unusually dark and would be very pretty for an evening walk with a few more street lights. Even the area around the famous wheel was extremely quiet, but that might be largely because of the time of year and it not being he weekend. It's nice but from my experience at that price range and area I would recommend Prague or Krakow over it quite comfortably.
  2. Anyone got any reasonably cheap suggestions for things to do at night/decent Austrian places to eat in Vienna? First time here so touristy suggestions are welcome
  3. Nah that's too far imo, even as a non-smoker. It's not like people are waltzing around parks blowing smoke into prams. Find it a bit rich when people (not this person like, it is sort of their job) get a bit on their high horse about the health problems while at the same time drink so much poison on a weekend that their bodies will actually make them vomit to prevent death. Or eat so much junk that their heart packs in. From the article I agree with banning smoking in cars with kids in it though, long journeys with a smoker in a confined space can't be great for young children.
  4. If his current injury record continues/worsens he wouldn't be worth a free transfer on the wages he'll be on at West ham, injury free for a whole season he'd be a great signing and worth about £15-20m I'd reckon. All there is to say about it really, would rather we looked elsewhere.
  5. Sit all day by the phone and this is how I find out?!? Fucking bullshit this.
  6. That kind of confidence/arrogance/belief/delusion/winners mentality, whatever you want to call it, can actually help though. Everyone at that club and most of thee fans seem to think that same way. Can also lead to underestimating teams like Basel as well like but hey ho.
  7. Ultimately it will obviously come down to results, doesn't matter how many banners get into the ground, if we start picking up points again he'll be going nowhere, so there's really not much more they can do. They've managed to make the national press recognise and report on the sheer amount of Pardew out feeling amongst our support though, which wasn't anyway near as obvious to outsiders as it is now, and they couldn't have organised things any better other than maybe the timing of the 5 minute protest, which I understand their reasons for going with anyway.
  8. Comfortable win against a complacent Swansea. Pardew brushes off the haters.
  9. Just got the 2nd gen Moto G off Amazon- very nice for the price. Recommend for anyone not too fussed about phones that'd still like something that can do all the important things well.
  10. Unbeaten streak continues, #BackPardew Couldn't watch this, anyone stand out as particularly good/bad?
  11. It sounds defeatist and boring but I think what we actually need is to wait for someone very rich to make a bid way over market value. All the calling him names in the world isn't going to make him sell for less than he wants or change his ways, and as has been said, as much as I'd like to see it I just can't see a realistic scenario where attendance will be low enough to actually make him rethink his business plan for us. It's more and more about the TV money these days. Shy of someone actually sneaking an Uzi into the boardroom I can't see any realistic ways of forcing an ownership/strategy change.
  12. I'd buy some of those neat Marty McFly Nike's and pay two peasant chumps to carry me around on a de-wheeled skateboard, making the humming hoverboard noise for me. Invest in hoverboard technology. Pay Rachel Riley to come round my house and just be nice to me when I'm down, because prostitution is wrong. And then we would fall in love and watch Countdown together
  13. Most entertaining game in a long time. Hope this is the start of a Cisse revival because God knows we need goals from somewhere. Looked confident and happy so that's a good sign.
  14. Tiote destined for a 94th minute winner here
  15. 'Always looking forward Jonas' or something similar
  16. Nice attacking play by Williamson Cabella should score
  17. 3-0 NUFC. Rivi, Cabella and the Gouff.
  18. In fairness, a Gascoigne reign would be an absolute blast.
  19. I know you should never do it as a professional, you need to show some restraint, it's stupid and needless in that respect. But I'm not going to be outraged over Woodman calling someone a prick if he was, you know, being a prick.
