  1. Yup keeping positive makes the world of difference, congrats.
  2. Yeah had a few facebook spoilers over the years, particularly Joff and the Red Wedding. Just bizarre what people are getting out of doing it. Also *first season spoiler * didn't watch the first series until it had been finished a few months. Was talking to a mate about whether it was worth watching and he said yeah but Sean Bean basically just plays Boromir, he must get pissed off at just playing the same character over and over and dying in everything he's in. Hence spoiling the entire fucking thing. Essentially had the two main shocks of the whole series utterly ruined
  3. He didn't want Balotelli IIRC, said something in a presser about how he wasn't right for Liverpool or something. Then a month later when other signings didn't happen they took a gamble on him at what looked a decent price and he changed his (public) tune.
  4. Topic of the Year sorted, and it's only June.
  5. Meh could've gone to either of those three, no mega standout manager this year.

There's the clue as to why he's been kept on. If his fridge gets empty enough for him to give a shit he'll be decent in League One.
  7. Think he's gone, Dorne storyline is lightweight so they've thrown a Bronn death in, in an attempt to make it interesting imo. Big mistake if they have, quickly running out of characters capable of decent dialogue.
  8. He didn't forget about you...
  9. Might've been 2007 the last one actually, mainly remember Luque being absolutely lethal.
  10. Last one I played was 2006 I think, must've improved a lot as you used to get daft stuff like Arsenal 14th Bolton 2nd etc. Think it was either CM4 or FM 2005 where after about 3 years I had Shola valued about £35m and Dyer about £30m.
  11. I've met the queen. Smelt lovely, like Radox lavendar bubble bath. Phil's a towering beast of a specimen, could still probably do me over 100m.
  12. In 100 years methods of population control will be one of the big government policies we're voting for.
  13. Saw Mad Max last night, really, really excellent, best pure action blockbuster I've seen in a long time. Don't expect a deep plot or anything too serious and you'll love it, go see it in a decent 3D cinema. Agree with StraightEdge about Hardy's voice mind, not as annoying as it was in Batman though.
  14. There was the makings of a good film in there somewhere, just the dialogue, characters, motivations and acting was awful. Which is kind of important. And they ripped off Independence Day of all things with the kamikaze ship thing.
  15. Wouldn't wanna sit on that face personally tbh
  16. Can I ask a stupid question? What happens if somehow Lab/SNP/LIbDem form a coalition, but Clegg loses his seat? Could he still lead the party in that coalition?
  17. Majority of voters not particularly interested in politics vote base on how well the leaders come across to them in the small soundbites/headlines rather than their actual policies/philosophies, which can be easiliy influenced by media/'narrative'. Think LibDems gained a lot last time due to Clegg being seen as a fresh faced alternative rather than any actual improvement in Lib policies, and now he's seen as a weak willed lying turncoat, they're done with him and move onto whoever tick's their big brother popularity box, irrelevant to how close their new choice matches the policies they voted for last time.
