The OFFICIAL Transfer Rumours Thread 2018 -2019

He wasn't as much of a bit part player as you might think last season tbf, and his goal record in the time he did play is definitely impressive https://www.whoscored.com/Players/91213/Show/Álvaro-Morata -

So if he signs for Athletico he can't play for them for 6 months, which I believe he's on the record as being fine with. It's also out that Conte messaged him at the end of the season saying he wasn't in chelseas plans for next season, which Costa put out on twitter or instagram or some shit which has hauled the price they could get for him through the floor. I guess its also possible that Athletico had a sell on/buy back clause for if chelsea ever were selling him which has resulted in just 22 million changing hands -
Maybe hes just trying to escape

Looking at his history he was signed from and loaned back to Girona immediately by City and was then sold to Eibar once that loan ended, its entirely possible he never even trained with them.

Crikey that is some next level scapegoating for the relegation.

He went to PSV, played 20 or so games last season after a few bad years of ridiculous injuries, we might actually see him this year!

Looking to trade a bunch of my stuff in, either against something new or just for cash, emailed a local (big) shop asking if they'd be interested in any of it since there is more stuff than I want to cart to a shop to be offered pittance. Sent a list asking for just a ballpark starting figure and they couldn't even be arsed with that, just sent back "how much do you think its all worth?" Having worked in retail that did trade ins I'm sure thats not how its supposed to work, if I'm putting my own pricing on it I might as well just stick it all on ebay. Btw if anyone wants anything heres a list. Amps; Egnater Tweaker 15: Excellent condition, never gigged, all in perfect working order including original box and manuals. Vox AD30VT: Same as above, in really good nick and never gigged, no box/manuals for this one. Pedals; All ungigged and in excellent condition. ProCo Rat 2 Distortion with Original Box and Power Converter. Dr Tone PSU10 Power Supply with power leads. Dr Tone DST101 Distortion. Dr Tone OVD101 Overdrive. Dr Tone DLY101 Delay. Dr Tone CHR101 Chorus. Dr Tone FTN101 Chromatic Tuner Pedal. Stagg UPC688 Pedal Case. Guitar; LTD KH202L; Left handed Kirk Hammet Signature guitar, decent condition with some signs of age, this is the older version of the guitar that had passive EMGs rather than ESPs own pickups and a gloss painted neck rather than a plain maple one. It's all good stuff and it all works fine, just looking to get rid of the amps since I've got the helix now and don't really play the guitar, making room for something else on the rack.

An important and worthwhile clarification!

Generic small time football blather thread 2015/16

I'm fairly sure Louise Taylors written our entry for this under an assumed name. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2017/jul/03/premier-league-fans-all-47-clubs-best-worst-moments Carver took us down and Ben Arfa is a favourite player apparently. Much as I like Hatem he barely registers when it comes to quality/entertaining wingers of the PL era for us. -

Keita is one as well, one season of playing in the Bundesliga and Liverpool are winding up to spend 70 million on him. -

Finally won the bloody league! In the 20/21 season despite trailing spurs for the first 2/3 of the season I won 12 in a row which pulled me up to win the league with a game to spare. I also made the league cup final (for the third time I think) but lost to Spurs and the Europa League final which I then lost to OM. slightly disappointing to not make it a double but I'm really not that bothered. I signed Alban Lafont in January despite not really needing another Keeper so Timo Horn will be on his way out this summer as he annoyed me by agitating for a move before this season. Lafont will be number 1 for sure, hes excellent. My front four stepped their game up this time round, Odegaard, Amieri, Pavon and Yasin(newgen) all hit double figures of goals/assists with their rotational deputies also laying on plenty of goals. I have new owner, who is a total disappointment after a mooted "tycoon" takeover last summer I just ended up with a regular bloke who appears to be less savvy than Mike was, we used to live in constant profit but this chancer has come along, taken out a 60 million loan to aid "running costs" and then floated us on the stock market raising...£0. Berk.

Could have definitely, a better option than we have for the left wing. -

On the money thing...Ashley did say that Rafa had any money generated by promotion. Perhaps there just hasn't been any yet? When would TV money start coming into a newly promoted club? Is it still technically the 16/17 season at the moment? -
Cheap homegrown benchwarmer with some experience of the league. They've already paid big money for a better striker this summer.

Nah, that'll be covered by the 50 billion bill for brexit

Tons of changes to the squad since my last post. Made the CL proper and got through to the first knockout stage, league form suffered though but rallied towards the end and finished 5th, should've been able to grab 4th but just fell short. Tons of business done over summer, I think I have no players with a minimum fee release clause left anymore, though that does mean Xhaka and Dahoud left, fortunately they were both replaced before they'd gone. I made well over 100 million in the last transfer window, with Dahoud going to £50 million (signed free) and Xhaka going for £44 million (signed for 16), Gnabry also left for £38 million (signed for 7). I'm doing very well on the transfer profit, having only spent beyond what I've sold by a few million in my first season and profiting in every season since. Squad now Rajkovic/Horn Darmian/Yedlin Inigo Martinez/Diallo Kongolo/Mbemba Mendy/Haidara Ander Herrera/Bakayoko Rabiot/Davy Propper Odegaard/Juanpi Amiri/Oliver Pavon/Pjaca Dolber/Batshuayi/Regen with massive potential Herrera was free and Rabiot was 13 million meaning I replaced my 90 odd million of midfielders for buttons in comparison, they're a better pairing too.

Early November usually.

Tons of shit for upcoming holiday, among other things this...https://www.manfrotto.co.uk/offroad-stunt-backpack-grey-for-action-cameras which is on offer if anyone is looking for a good camera carrying backpack. Oh, a GoPro too, which will conveniently attach to the strap of that bag

Dunno much other than what the stats can say tbh, hes played more than 100 games for benfica since joining 2014 so he's been involved in most of their games, they've won a league and cup double in all of those seasons so he's obviously good at that sort of level. He's 6 foot 2 and is a defensive midfielder so I guess he'd be a partner to Shelvey in our system, a bit more physically imposing than the other players we have there.
