  1. Not bad that side, considering there's seven changes too.
  2. Cover article in this month's FourFourTwo is about Bayern, good read.
  3. I like how the top 2 results for that are lmgtfy itself, and ye olde Just Fucking Google It.com.
  4. Next up is a thread about "how do I use Google?".
  5. Why? It's only Cardiff. You always seem to assume the worst.
  6. Something about him that has me not liking him (as a manager) from the off. As a player I was pretty indifferent about him.
  7. Failing that, we should bring in J Zanetti to cover for Debuchy.
  8. We're still in a good position, but we could well continue this stuttering form especially given we've got Man City next in the league and then two away fixtures against sides down the bottom who are desperate for points. By then we could easily be midtable. I looked at the fixtures post-Stoke and I still feel that 3 points out of that lot would be a decent return and at least we're not playing Man City at their place where it'd be an almost guaranteed loss. Sadly they're finally finding some away form at just the wrong time for us.
  9. Sorry, but if we want to challenge the top 6, we simply can't be relying on the likes of Shola any more. Desperately need a new striker. I'm aware that Cisse is still warming the bench but I'm not sure he's the answer even if he gets a bit of confidence back - we need someone who can partner up well with Remy and Gouffran.
  10. Agree with all of this. I think that's why the result irritates a little - both sides offered very little going forward. A draw would have been a fair result but if any side was to win it would have down to a bit of luck (Remy's block going in) or a rare moment of 'relaxed' defending (their goal). If Arsenal had peppered our goal with shot after shot it'd have been different. As is it they didn't make Krul do too much. It's a great result for them - nowhere near their best but grinding out a result against a good side, and about as decent a loss as it can get for a losing side; one that shows we can compete with better sides, and even earn their respect (they parked the bus against us towards the end).
  11. The chances Ben Arfa took were in the dying minutes when he had other options. Gouffran and Remy were so anonymous that they didn't even have such chances really. I don't see why Ben Arfa is exempt from criticism. People get so wound up because they know how good he can be, but occasionally he isn't enough of a team player.
