He’s been poor recently but he’s worth more than that

Sorry about your Auntie mush, keep your pecker up.

Oh please invite him onto our Newcastle United board to tell us why we are wrong, with our semi serious jibes about his team. Please, can you?
-
Yeah you’re probably right among the vast majority, they probably do dislike us more. Be useful if Darlo or Hartlepool were higher up so they could have their own local Derby
-
All my boro mates hate both with a passion, probably because they don’t have a local Yorkshire team to have as rivals. Very one sided from my experience though

Congratulations mate

Sorry I’ve not read previous posts. my head has fell off recently, you all know I’ve been through the ringer with cancer and my family. Our lass, due to get married in July, has had some abnormal blood results and waiting for a camera/scan. She’s 37 and the healthiest person I’ve ever met. I’ve been here before and I’ve taken it worse than her, feels like I know what’s coming but trying to keep myself together

Hate to break it to you, but people in Boro used all those words too.

I.e being sensible

I watched the full interview on YouTube and what Howe said was, he was currently planning on Hall being here long term, he believed in him as a footballer but he has things to work on. Sees him as a left back long term. But he hasn’t at the moment hit the requirement for the transfer to be confirmed.

Absolute shite. As was the Martian, read both. Fucker would have been dead within 30 minutes

Eddie's, don't doubt the Dubs, NUFC v Wolverhampton Wanderers

Comparison is the thief of joy and all that but last season we had a miraculous run with injuries, had barely any I can remember and not any long term ones. Not the case this season. At this point last season we were 10 points better off than we currently are. Not too bad. Admittedly we aren’t playing well at the moment, but that’s mainly down to confidence Imo. Football is such a confidence game it makes a massive difference and you can’t get confident in your game sitting on the treatment table. -

442. Big man, little man, get it forward quick, proper wingers. Like football used to be. Oh we only have one centre forward, never mind. -
Galloway ran where I lived in Manchester years ago, he finished last in a majority Asian area. Shock horror

All of the draws this season have been shite

Think I have you all beat here, I spent the afternoon putting up a fence. I put the posts in yesterday while we were getting bummed, and fixed the boards this afternoon. I would rather have numerous soft wood splinters than watch Liverpool win a cup

You expecting again? Congrats mate

I started this comment taking about keeping goal but.. Based only on the motd highlights, Dubravka made two routine saves. Then slipped, which can happen to anyone for their first goal. He should have saved the second IMO, he didn’t move his feet well enough and Pope saves it tbh. Regardless, I’m one of Dan Burns biggest fans but he (read, his lack of pace) is getting targeted by opposition managers (see first goal today). I don’t think this is a Dan Burn problem, he is being asked to play left back and tuck in to allow Trippier to get forward, we all know this and now opposition managers have realised. Simply playing a different player doesn’t solve this, because it changes the shape of the entire team. Our back four is severely lacking in pace, all great players but no sprinters among them. So when we as a team play as high as we do (correctly imo) and try to win the ball high (again correctly), if we don’t win it back high then we very open to a quick counter attack with one/two passes. I think the issues with our defending are more to do with lacking big and little joes. They have high press energy, and nobody else in our midfield does, so we miss winning the ball high, preventing the quick passes behind our defence. This exposes our slow defenders. Sorry for the essay

Off to get measured for my wedding suit in the morning. Looking forward to the final nail in my football career as they announce at 39 and with a 36” gunt I’m not in prime shape anymore. It’s a sad but also positive day, I’ve held the position that I was ready to step into the first team for over 30 years and now accept i might be past my best, it’s their loss. Now I’ve hung up my boots I’m looking to take over a pub in the west end, so if anyone has any contacts let me know.
