Team sit and lean here tbf so take my name out ya mouth

Nah. But they should be supplying equipment needed to do your job safely at home. Generally speaking people working from home are office workers so the risk of injury is low and the equipment would mainly be IT/DSE stuff, although we have had to arrange sit stand desks amongst other things at peoples houses because they had one at the office for bad backs etc. May be different if you had welders/joiners/bricklayers working from home for example, but I doubt they would be very productive.

What Craig said, but at least in the UK there is no maximum (or minimum) temperature specified for workplaces. The legislation uses the term “reasonable” and then it’s up to the specific company to justify their management of it, usually depending on the type of work done there and other mitigating factors. Not sure if legislation is different in NZ though

They are if you are working from home. You should be treated the same as any other distant/mobile worker

Aye but youse have pools and that. We have fat pasty lad and lasses walking round with not enough clothes on, sweating everywhere.

Ere, you lads know there is nonsense and bot accounts on Twitter thought right?

Just down the road, we passed it on the way from the airport

Yeah we are in Limousin, about 45 minutes from Limoges airport. We haven’t left the house for three days tbh, but I have rented a car so we have some day trips planned. Thanks for the tip mate.

Taken my GF and my mam to a house (villa?) in Limoge in France for a week. My mam especially needed a break after everything that’s gone on. I’ve only ever been to Paris before and this is a completely different world compared to that shit hole. Relaxing AF, food is good and cheap, wine is pennies. The people are even friendly.

Im not a boxing fan and have never paid to watch a fight. I would pay £100 to get watch fury take that Jake Paul cunt apart, surely that means there are others like me and the fight should happen.

Eddie Howe spoke about maintaining the atmosphere around the club, I can only assume he sees Lascelles as captain as an important part of that for now. Think he will probably be replaced as captain this coming season and leave next summer.

Top fella looks like the PE teacher at my secondary who was done for noncing

All the best Craig

Exactly, the age of the work martyr is over. If it takes you 70 hours a week to do your job, you probably aren’t very good at your job. I am not working myself to an early death, and the clock watchers in the office can fuck right off
-
That’s the worst midlife crisis I’ve ever seen you fanny. Buy a Porsche Boxster or something
-
That is, and im being soft here, is fucking awful

I would prefer to stay at St James, it’s where I went to my first ever football match and I love it, but the physical possibilities are going to limit expansion where it is now, no matter the budget. I’ve been in construction for years and there is always ways around the constraints, but financial viability to build over roads/grade 1 buildings/metro’s etc mean it would be a lot easier to build elsewhere. Also, I’ve been to Man Cities new stadium, and its great looking but an empty bowl of no atmosphere. Imo, it would be better to stay at a smaller St James, improve it where possible, pack it out every game and make a proper atmosphere at every game.

Lucy Worsley. Little lisp does things to me

Do we have a thread for famous lasses that straddle the boiler/fit confusion zone? Tried searching but no luck

I’ve been to the Allianz, it was Oktoberfest and I was a bit worse for wear. I remember it being decent but not great. I mainly remember how steep the stands were (we were in the 3rd tier I think) and being able to drink in our seats. Loads of land around it as well. I remember walking through park land and a massive car park before we got to the ground but again wasn’t exactly compos mentis. Looked amazing from outside all lit up mind.
