1. back up 131074 We know, but is N-O down?
2. Seriously though, what can Butt offer us, even if we "forgive" him. He's finished.
3. I was all for Roeder having the rest of the season as a caretaker, and he's done a good job. However, is he the man to take us forward? I seriously doubt it - his record is actually pretty poor. If Shepherd can't entice a decent manager like O'Neill any more, then what is he here for? FFS, even Rangers are a more attractive proposition than us, and they are probably not going to be in the CL this year.
4. Jesus wept. Without the benefit of hindsight, I can foresee that as being a truely shit appointment if true.
5. Can I just point out that that last comment is a bit rich coming from you, given your undying support/love for Souness. I'd like us to get rid of Butt at almost any cost. Call it hatred if you like, but there should never be any way back for the ginger bastard. He's shit anyway. And that's my opinion, not Oliver's. 130935 Oooooo Renton's in a radj! How's that comment a bit rich, you gimp? My "undying love and support" for Souness amounted for the most part to nothing more than me saying that he needed time to prove himself one way or the other. If you're planning on booing a player that we're stuck with and that's picking up £55k a week then you're a moron. FACT. It's not my fault Alan Oliver is such a big influence on you!? 130938 I think it's rich you slagging off "fans who can't think for themselves" who are "against" Butt. I'm against him, as in I want him out of the club, but I never said I'd boo him. Btw, if you were thinking for yourself when you supported Souness when it was obvious he was having a negative impact on the club (because lets be honest you did), then what does that say about your thought processes? Sorry for the radj. Just found two of your posts today quite patronising, that's all.

7. If as expected Roeder gets the job it finally confirms without a shadow of a doubt what a fat useless twat Shepherd is.
8. I disagree with people generalising Sima. I thought that was fairly obvious. When I was at Highbury this year, some fans decided they would piss on the toilet floor rather than using a pot, as it wasn't their ground. Nice. Or then there was the time we played a friendly at Parkhead, which was a great excuse for some Newcastle fans to start singing God save the Queen and all that crap. Individually, people can behave like wankers, doesn't mean I'm going to generalise about all Newcastle fans though.
9. If that's what you think you've really got a chip on your shoulder. Ridiculous.
10. It's been pointed out by others, but it's the generalisations i don't like such as this: Anybody that chants songs about Hillsborough, Heysel, or Munich is a tosser full stop, regardless of their loyalties. I'm also sure we have all seen Newcastle fans behaving like complete wankers too. CHOMP.
11. Who's been the greater influence? The man who was there all season even when we were shit or the man whom, when he became present in the dressing room, we started to perform? I'm not knocking Shearer at all, but I think it's easy to see that Roeder has been the difference. I'm agreeing with Gemmill, Roeder's done a superb job and, O'Neill aside, I think he has to be a strong contender to get the job! 124623 Just a cautionary note, that's all. Shearer of course was not Souness's assistant, so it's unfair to dismiss him because he has been a constant in all this. Anyway, I agree. I want O'Neill, but failing that, I'd prefer Roeder over many other candidates.
12. Got to say, it was a masterstroke of Shepherd to appoint Roeder when he did. He really deserves his millions for his extensive research. Ahem. I suggested giving Roeder the job as early as January and I was not alone. It was an obvious solution and it is good luck it worked out - but hardly inspired.
13. People have dismissed Shearer's contribution to the dressing room too. With him gone next year, will there be a negative effect? Can Roeder do it alone? I'm not so sure.
14. Aye. She was in a play I saw recently, called Top Women or some other such feminist crap. 124540 It's assumed it was made up, i.e. anti-Papal propaganda a few hundred years later. Have you heard the (also made up) story about the special throne for used in a secret Papal initiation rite which has a hole in it so that someone can reach up to check the Pope has a cock and balls? I mean, come on 124543 Aye, that was in too. It was a weird play like.

16. Used to wear number 99 tbh 124501 Shot 9 times, played in goal for Algeria. 124508 Whats that pope doing having kids anyway? I thought popes were only allowed to bash their bishops? 124520 Illegitimate son I believe. Very common in days gone by for Popes to have loads of mistresses. 124527 Wasn't one of the medieval popes a woman, who gave birth whilst on a procession, and was swiftly executed?
17. You're just jealous of my star!
18. These words are useless in real life tbh. Synonyms and homonyms are where it's at.
19. That's not a fucking autonym! Try again. 124495 According to Gemmill it is.
20. All nouns are man! I've already established that despite what these idiots think. 124490 No they're not, and all you have established is that you're a thick twat! But then, we already knew this, so it doesn't belong in this thread....
21. No it's not. But is this: Orange
