Christ, I'm watching the Sunderland match while I'm waiting for the Liverpool ManU one. Fucking hell the speed, quality and atmosphere are dismal.
-
This is hilarious. He was just sticking up for his buddy on LK a few hours ago, saying how they are going to hang out at the Trump inauguration, and now Musk has publicly humiliated him.
-
Aye, the 6th of January, the Epithany, is the last day of Christmas. Leave your decorations after that and you have to leave them up all year.
-
Eh? A day early if anything
-
Taking down the decorations, wandered into the living room and Mrs Rents is watching Kuenssberg with Farage being interviewed on iPlayer. What an absolute loathsome piece of shit he is. Hey, he's not accusing Starmer of anything, he's just asking questions. Oh, and Trump's literally a hero in his words. How fucking thick do you need to be taken in by him? He deflects every question, poorly imo, but LK isn't tough enough. He's also so obsequious to Musk and Trump. Says we don't need to fear tariffs from the US, we just need to cut all ties with Europe. He's a transparent literal traitor. Oh, and weaponising child rape to promote racism. Yet he's gaining traction even amongst the young apparently. I know I should have just turned and walked out the room but it's like that philosophy thing of does a tree make a noise when it falls if there's nobody there to hear it? Well yes, it does. And sticking your head in the sand isn't going to stop you getting fucked over down the line. Ignorance is rarely bliss in the long-term. I expect politics to get very ugly these coming years, worse than ever before.

Very much looked like it hit his chest first to me too. Not sure why this wasn't mentioned by any pundit.

I had like 6 followers, probably all bots, never checked. A lot of these journalists have 10s of thousands of followers they actively communicate with which has taken years to foster. I can see why its harder for them, that's all. I'm not going to condemn someone who is part dependant on the platform for their livelihood. The money involved is utterly irrelevant to him. He can still direct the right wing crowd who are not leaving. He'll just have fewer targets to troll, which is something at least.

Do what we did 2 years ago in the league at this time of year, the time Arteta's lwgo top head blew off. With Botman back we've got nearly all that team and some extras.
-
A Bridge too fucking far? If we're using WW2 inspired metaphors, how about you think of your avatar and get into the spirit of the Guns of Navarone?
-
I think he's gone all mackem and insinuating the Saudis somehow bribed the officials. He can't say that without censure though obviously. He's reminding me of Klopp. Fine when he's doing well, a complete dickhead when he isn't.
-
Howay man, let's not make excuses. Arsenal are the same but have Europe to contend with too. And Saka is injured isn't he? As well as Sterling who often seems to score against us. We want it more than them. A draw or narrow win to them imo. We've got this blad!
-
Good point, let me check the small print here.
-
Ruined their football weekend 24 hours before they kick off.
-
Someone could. Usual mackem bullshit bingo over there. The PL is shite, we've bribed the officials, they could beat Spurs, Jobe Bellingham is worth £200 million etc.
-
He'll be on the bucky with Tuchel tonight. The state of them.
-
McCoist like us tbf. He was just being sentimental.
-
Best festive period I can ever remember. Unlike other seasons, we don't have an injury crisis. Draw against Arsenal, beat them at home, revenge for 73. It's happening.
-
Yeah, but don't let that detract from the first half when we smashed them. Also, ateod our defending was class.
-
-
Surely that's a penalty?
-
If only we could score fucking corners....

Aye, so it becomes a lifestyle drug for those who can afford it. Far from ideal.
-
That's what I mean, there is no one size fits all in Pharma. Companies need to also be incentivised to treat or cure rare conditions but need to be reimbursed. Ozempic is an interesting one mind. I've lost as much weight by changing my diet as an average Ozempic user over the same time period in the last 6 months. Not everyone can do that though. Problem is, if you reserve this treatment for the most obese only, it creates a perverse moral hazard where people will deliberately become morbidly obese to qualify for the drug on the NHS. Health economics is full of such quandaries.
