  1. very well done to that jordan kid. good quotes there with a positive spin on the matter that ashley and others will find hard to counter. unlike the aggressive stance the nust took, i reckon this more reasoned approach will be much better received and more likely to win support among fans. tbh, it could work out better in the long run as level 4 noise might spread to the rest of the ground better than it did up in the gods.
  2. big game. i've given up with predictions for this season. a win would be a massive result against this lot
  3. you're just a blatant wind up merchant aren't you? we'd be fucked without him - one of our best players and our only genuine left back.
  4. good luck to you all getting this up and running. i have been sitting mostly in leazes level 7 right next to the singing corner the last few years when i've been to the match and it's always a good laugh. makes a nice change to the gallowgate which has got progressively quieter in recent seasons. leazes level 7 started out as an unofficial singing section so no reason why with a little organisation, the same crew can't all move to a different part of the ground. good luck! i'll be looking to get tickets in or around whichever section you end up for the two or three home matches i get to a season. don't let that fat twat win
  5. solano did way more than barton has in a toon shirt. barton's only had half a good season so far. same goes for tiote. he's been class but there are other central midfielders who did it over a period of years.
  6. his face doesn't fit. good for us given he's finally found his form.
  7. wasn't andy cole's goals per game ratio the best of any of that group of strikers? he was different class for us. imagine picking a front two from a pool of shearer, pedro, cole and ferdinand. puts the state of our current forward options into perspective.
  8. i honestly think we're better off playing the three we've already got and using the kids as back up.
  9. black swan: good stuff. the fight club with lesbo action was a good analogy - 7/10
  10. the settlers are fucking nobjockeys tbh. just as bad as the islamist fundamentalists on the other side. the extremists on both sides that are the reason why there will never be peace in the middle east.
  11. Fuck me. I think I'd rather stick with what we've got than get in kuqi or aliadiaire
  12. i don't blame pardew for taking the job but he hasn't entirely won me over. he knew what he was getting himself tinto when he signed the contract. he was so desperate for a decent job that he would work for any cunt. and our owners are cunts, no doubt. his success in sustaining the team spirit and unity among the players we saw emerge under hughton has surprised me. his inability to pull off a good transfer window hasn't. pardew's basically the perfect ashley manager - cheap, willing and grateful. it's like pulling a fat lass - they're so desperate to have someone interested in them and you know they're going to do they're all to please you.
  13. They'll be getting paid a fortune. The average Super Sunday game gets 1.2m viewers. Talksport averages 3m listeners during the day, all those ad's etc.. they'll be minting it in. Toontastic should start its own little radio station, would be easy to set up, each week with a new member presenting. that would be classic. highlights could include the breafast show. morning moans on all things toon related. some mid morning world and political programs, the highlight being parky's morning musings on the middle east and all the latest consipracy theories drivetime radio featuring all of the best selections from the "what are you listening to thread" evening show would have your daily old board v new board phone in show hosted by leazesmag and skidmark. a toontastic take on nightowls guaranteed to help send any listener off to sleep.
  14. got to agree about chopra. there was so much hype around him but he's never really cut the mustard in the top flight. looks a good championship player but that's it. a geordie version of rob earnshaw, but not quite as ugly.
  15. we've little option but to give them a go when they're fit
  16. What are the alternatives? A deal until the summer would be better than nothing. play best, ranger, lovenkrands and use the kids as cover? might be the better option. we're talking about a player that couldn't get a new contract with the smogs
  17. God willing though, we will potentially have four players who could play left wing in Benny, Kaz, Fergie and Jonas. I've like some of the clips ive seen of Nzogbia lately, but I still wouldnt want the whinging fuck back. Blows too hot and cols as well, with more emphasis on the cold. benny, kaz and fergie? tbh, i think ben arfa is the only one at the club who could play wide left better than nzogbia. but the lack of strikers mean he'll probably play mroe centrally anyway. i'm more concerned by the potential signing of aliadiare than re-signing a good player. he's dogshit.
  18. what a fucking pisstake. they're basically removing the only remaining part of the ground where there's a consistently good atmosphere
  19. i actually wouldn't nzogbia back. he's a good player. better than jonas imo. not sure about the fee like.
  20. chockablock let's pretend bagpuss grange hill dogtanian and the three muskahounds mysterious cities of gold 80 days around the world with willy fog transformers
  21. Ballsack... Just missed it. Good work stevie. Fair play for coming clean on here then on national radio no less.
  22. Blimey o'reilly stevie!
  23. After reading the thread title for a moment I thought leazesmag actually had something new to say. Should have known better
  24. Nice thread! Shame the bloody dog walkers put a halt to the castle leazes project
