The West Ham 'petrol bomb' game I think. That was certainly one of the first.

This +2 the traditional (and best) option. Used to have savoury ones with mince or chicken supreme in. Mmmm.....

Do You Still Like Andy Carroll?
Dr Kenneth Noisewater replied to DubiousBobcat's topic in Newcastle Forum
Are you not right? Why do you hate them? Shared a student house with three of them '95-'97, so I had to put up with a lot of shit re the 4-3 games. Only one of them was proper scouse, one was from wrexham (horrible cunt he was) and the other one was a plastic from Southport. They were all arrogant divine-righter cunts, like most of their following. Two of my good mates now are Evertonians and they couldn't be more different to the red shite. EDIT: also at school all the little glory hunters who knew nowt about football had liverpool shirts. I suppose kids in the '90s were the same with ManU, and kids now will have chelsea tops. There's a lad I've known for years, comes from Redcar but supports liverpool. He always bangs on about how big and how great they are, and who they're going to sign. He only pipes down when I remind him that I've been to more matches in liverpool than he has. Mid-thirties this kid is, and the sum of his trips to anfield could be counted on the fingers of one hand. (He also adds that he's been on the stadium tour as well mind, the daft shite). -

I've had first hand experience of both too, both wanks, but Rangers are far worse, just how I see it. That bouncey bouncey bouncey bouncey nananananaaaaaaa song, you know what it's about? It's about a catholic kid, who get set about off a gang of prods in NI, and they jumped up and down on his head till he was dead. The Big Jock Knew stuff as well, completely baseless, without foundation and a deliberate attempt to blacken the name of one of the greatest football managers in the history of the game. I can only speak as I find. I think we can agree that neither of them are angels and they've both got a massively inflated idea of their place in the world of football. -
Ranger gets ticking off for lateness

Perhaps it might have been a good idea for the club to wait until he sorted his 'attitude' out before giving him a 5 year contract You and your crazy 'planning'. Where would that get us? -

They've both got more than their fair share of sectarian nut-cases. I've been to both their grounds in the last 18 months and in my personal experience celtic are far, far worse. Pro-IRA songs I expected, but Pro-taliban songs, fucking hell. The anti-British atmosphere was quite intimidating. Been to Ibrox twice this season (our pre-season game and them vs. Aberdeen) and had no probs at all. It was the saturday before poppy day for the dons game and the reaction they gave the returning troops at half-time was as stark a contrast as you could possibly imagine. I'm not massively pro-British either by the way, my allegiances are strictly with Newcastle & England, and I'm not in the slightest bit interested in religion. -
You do know you can't mention Ken without holding a minutes silence in Liverpool don't you? Someone's still collecting his giro I bet.

You live in a fantasy world like kidda. Seriously fuck off you patronising wank. I never said we would or could just that id love to. No offence, but how many posts have you made over the last few days describing what players you think we should buy in the summer? Have you not noticed who the chairman is?

Me too. Can't hope to match the impact of the original and will only sully its reputation.

Williamson is an average defender, but you can't underestimate how important his partnership with Coloccini is to the team. That was Pardew's biggest mistake yesterday, unsettling the unit at the back. Especially with Guthrie on the bench, there was no need. Not that i think Guthrie is any good out wide particularly, but it would have meant the back 4 left alone with Simpson on Arteta instead of Taylor running away from Arteta and Guthrie whatever people on here think of him, would have offered more going forward than the other two did yesterday. Was Guthrie on the bench? I thought he'd gone on loan to Forest. I like Williamson, I think he's a decent meat & drink centre-half, who compliments Collo well.

I was in the level 4 Leazes Corner area, so I could hear L7 and the away fans which was good. I think splitting up the singing section is a huge error, bound to have an effect on atmosphere and a typical 'its my ball and you can't play' decision from large michael just because a few nasty songs come from there.

Can we please make our mind up. Are we shit or potential winners?

Lets get that sorted the morra, tbh. Are you coming up for this one btw? Aye, and where were you last week btw? Was reading another thread and you managed to avoid a pre-match pint but still stayed out til 6am. Good work tbf. Think I spotted you in Tillys before the match. With Alex and possibly Matt?

Likewise. I'll bring up a little bit of bile the first time I see him in a red shirt.
