  1. Normally, this thread should be gerld but with that Rihanna post, I recommend it be preserved and showcased to future generations.
  2. Just think that there could be an alternate universe where we're the best team on the planet
  3. You got the radioclit mixtape? African bastardisation of Western culture. Good album....and free to boot. Aye, I love it. Their take on Vampire Weekend is top notch. As for listening now. Harry Nilsson's Aerial Ballet. On one hand, it's near perfect pop music but on the other hand, it influenced Macca to write Maxwell's Silver Hammer so I'm undecided on it really.
  4. Group Bombino - Guitars from Agadez Vol.2 Went through a period of listening to a ton of African music and slowly starting to get back into it with this. Side A is Jekyll, with light acoustic tracks while Side B is the Hyde with distorted, electronic songs. Good, good stuff.
  5. Lose or draw and we're down. How very depressing.
  6. You don't see Goodman with a PhD in Pain, do you?
  7. The first thing I check on a woman is her choice of hat
  8. Didn't even know it was coming out yet. Under a rock springs to mind.
  9. BANTER Seriously, use your imagination, mate. If you can stop frothing at the mouth long enough.
  10. They won't even talk to us about their sacking of managers with a straight face so I can't imagine a podcast coming. It'd probably be like that scene in The Simpsons where Lisa gets the postcard from her pen pal but it's been edited to a piece of propaganda. "All hail the benevolent general Ashley. Yours sincerely, Lee Ryder"
  11. I wouldn't take the high ground here, mate. Considering you've come on to an opposition message board, gloated about being a shinier bit of shit than us at present (using fucking retarded (there's that word again) arguments) and are apparently shocked when the likes of Alex and Chez are handing you your knackers and knocking down your strawmen. And this has actually turned to attendances again. Fuck me.
  12. I think if you begin limiting these kind of lists to the most influential albums, you limit the bands that aren't necessarily reinventing the genre but just writing very good songs.
  13. AKA I am a WUM with no real substance, have realised that these people won't bite and are ripping apart my retardness with ease so time to backpedal.
  14. Honestly, man. You can be 35 points ahead of us in the league and still play total anti-football considering well-rehearsed set-piece routines seem to work in the shitheap that is the lower Premier League. However, it doesn't make it a total bore to watch. If you can't see that, then, yes, you're retarded.
  15. RoversStayinUp What a 1000th post btw I'll let him off since he seems canny enough
  16. Happy to admit we've had some thugs playing football for us, but we don't tend to play thuggish football. I see a difference. Every time I watch a Blackburn game it's like watching a game of football through a time warp. They still think clattering into someone is fine and dandy, the little niggly fouls on the half way line, the cheating and diving. It's like the Leeds of old... without the class, obviously. I'd agree with that tbf and was just being facetious really. No doubt this bloke thinks I'm agreeing with him though. And I love this: It's like he's trying to argue but he's retarded.
  17. We had a convict in our squad last night. As much as I'd love to argue that our players don't have thuggish tendencies, the history says different.
  18. The revisionist history being done now that Allardyce has done a decent job at Blackburn is infuriating. Anyone that actually watched us under him will be able to tell you how out of his depth he looked, how stupid his tactics were and that his sacking was entirely justified. We looked just as bad then as we do now and his failure was never due to a lack of time, just a lack of bottle on his part.
  19. Dylan's new album is good stuff. First track sounds like The Wire theme. Actually, his voice is becoming very Tom Waitsish now which is good stuff in my book.
  20. Indoors with a shotgun as we speak. I'd like to see it try and infect me.
