I'd say fuck Palace on principle alone. I recall Mitchell saying something like we need to be looking at Europe for better value so it'll be interesting to see if Howe or Mitchell prevail. On the face of it I'd say replacing Schar was more of a summer project but I suppose if Guehi was highly coveted as a long term replacement then they might prioritise him. I don't get why we would we sign Guehi when Botman and Lascelles will be coming back? Especially since Palace dicked us around to the point we wasted all our time and missed out on other targets.
