Marco Polo. If someone could guess all that, I'd buy them dinner too.
-
Sounds like a mackem to me. A real Leeds fan would know what we're going through, even if he wanted to laugh it'd stick in his throat.
-
Don't these people know that sacking Terry Mac means the ultimate demise of this club? It's like the ravens and the tower.
-
Saw him down on Broadway last night, told me he'd just got back from a serious humane campaign - rebuilding houses in Haiti, reinforcing levees in New Orleans, and impregnating Sarah Palin in Alaska. Told me to come round for a barbecue any time. What a gentleman.
-
From wiki: Anyone know if there's truth in that? I'd have him at the moment, he's certainly loopy enough to take the job and he can motivate a team. EDIT: Sorry, I meant to write that I'm talking about Terim.

Was just going to say, isn't Gordon Ramsey English? They tell us he is over here. Wonder what that's all about.
-
Emailed Bevan also with a note of thanks. Sad pattern developing though: Football men - our side. Press and "businessmen" - their side. I don't think we'll win out

If Wise won't put the club first, then he needs to go, too
acrossthepond replied to Craig's topic in Newcastle Forum
Very proud of SBR and very grateful to all of the football men who have come out and voiced support for Keegan. They were having a laugh when he came back no doubt but I think people like Redknapp and Curbishley now know the direction football is headed and they know Keegan is one of their people, not one of these "new football" scum like Wise and Comolli and the rest of them. Not long for this world, Sir Bobby, but he's still got the fire in him. What a man. -
Take that statement and shove it up your fat arse, Ashley. It is a fact that you're a wanker and you're going to drag this club down to nothing with your "business"
-
Hence why we're talking about Poyet. At any rate, get lost you mackem trash.
-
Worth a read for once. They have Spurs fans in Holland, Dennis? Maybe you can teach our resident a few things about WUMmery.
-
Aye, we took a fair bit of piss out of Roeder for his clueless signings and tactics but he's another one who cares about the club in his heart and this won't be going down well with him either. The media are as usual having a field day but it's good to see we've got support from people who know the game (and know what is happening to it) such as Curbishley and even Glenn.

Hoo, boy. You have really wound me up. Oh yes. I am wound up. I can't even sit straight. Man oh man am I wound up. Yee haw.
-
"Are you Mr. Adams's replacement?" "I am Mr. Adams's successor. No-one could replace him." - Foreign Minister of France and Thomas Jefferson, sometime in the 18th century. I'd have Bilic, I suppose, to succeed Keegan. I also noticed that Ketsbaia business with some interest, although not exactly enthusiasm.

End of an era, this. God save the King. One thing is certain: Ashley must go. I don't care if Llambias or Wise or whoever was directly responsible for this, they are all fruit of the poisonous tree as far as I'm concerned and the man who appointed them must be held accountable. The only glimmer of hope left in this is as someone suggested for the Anil bloke to buy FFM out and tell Keegan he's manager effective immediately and he can do whatever and buy whoever he pleases. Go to hell and take your cronies with you, Ashley. There's plenty of London scum like you but there's only one Kevin Keegan.

Owen to lead a player revolt for answers over Kevin Keegan's future
acrossthepond replied to Jimbo's topic in Newcastle Forum
To be honest this sounds like typical media shite. ...that said, it's typical media shite I hope is true. In my opinion, the longer this whole saga drags on, the more likely Keegan is to stay. -
KEEGAN COME BACK! Any London fool could see There's just something in everything about you. KEEGAN COME BACK! We'll just blame Ashley He was wrong - but we just can't live without you.
-
They haven't officially announced when it will be yet. But there has been an official announcement that there will be an official announcement?
-
Do we know when that official announcement is going to be made?
-
Please be lies. ...I know that it isn't, but all I've got left is hope here. It's my birthday too. What a present.

Ant lad, do you know a Dr Gloom? You remind me a lot of him. As I said at midday, I'm satisfied with these transfer dealings and though we may have all been hoping for the "wow" signing it was never reality. The deadwood has been thoroughly culled, with the exception of Smith and Ameobi, and hopefully we can (find a decent mob outfit to take care of them) get shot of them soon enough. In Keegan we trust.
-
first funny thing you've posted...ever. Congratulations Beating you by one then lad. Go on and do one already won't you? EDIT: Much more important than me having a go at Danny is the following:

Have a word man, there's no Hindu Arabs! And womanising is looked down upon in most every religion. At work so I won't say much but I for one am pleased with the way we're progressing, I had expected no-one tonight and so both players are above expectations for me. Xisco especially seems to be a promising signing if the DLC fans are anything to go by.

In the technical sense, this post is 100% correct. They are members of the animal kingdom (or whatever it's called nowadays) and it's pointless (as well as oxymoronic) to try to impose a political philosophy based on self-determination on any group of people, since in doing so you have robbed them of their self-determination.

Couple of things: I don't know if I get the same commentary as you in England but over here we had some absolute and utter shite-for-brains who said "Mike Ashley, doing what Geordies do best" when MA was on camera drinking. ...how is that acceptable? I'm sorry, but if the camera had shown some dodgy looking scouse lad with a goatee nicking a watch out someone's pocket and the commentator had said "doing what scousers do best" there'd be hell to pay. Next up: Barton's tackle was 100% ball and it was disgraceful to hear the way both Arse fans and commentators were going on about him. He is a proper tosser and no mistake but he was not at fault today. And lastly, we got truly hammered which is just as well, this was a throw-away game from the start and if this loss convinces Ashley to open up the chequebook we will have to accept it and move on. Jonas and Coloccini were convincing for me, Shola needs to be put down for his own good, Owen looked committed and N'Zogbia's handball wasn't a penalty but in the 3rd minute Colo had a wild tackle that surely was one, so it evened out imo
