  1. That wasnt from Euro 2008 by the way. Cheat ! Yeah, cheat
  2. Does he deserve an 80k contract? No. Is he replaceable? Yes. isnt it best to get replacements in first ? Yes . dont think he could be replaced like for like tbh , he could be taught to play better tho . We'll have to wait and see really. KK likes clever players with a good touch and a bit of vision. Burning pace is fantastic asset to have, but his all-round game is Dyer. FYP
  3. Yes please, if only to attract those Svedish supporters (see Euro chick thread).
  4. Eamonn to that, tbh. But then they'd be machine stitched, half the boot and called copa mundials I don't know why you're complaining Sammy, the only thing you ever wanted to be black was yourself, mon! By the way: gold: white: silver:
  5. Actually alex adidas Profi's are. They're just German made, handstiched, coloured copas and they are half the price of those things every second adidas player were wearing at the euros.
  6. Third. Who the fuck is No blacks? I hope I'm miss interpreting your team name.

  9. The real Harry Potter In a suprise statement today Harry Potter's creator and author of the fantasy series, Joanne Rowling OBE admitted the protagonist which in previous interviews she claims was conceived whilst on a train trip from Manchester to London in 1990, in fact was shaped long before that fateful day. With the recent disappointment of England's failure to qualify for the 2008 European Championship Ms Rowling has taken to pondering her own football disappointment whilst growing up as a Bristol City fan. In a recent exclusive one on one interview with BBC's book of the month reporter, Sharon Reeder, Ms Rowling let slip. "You know I remember those cold winter trips to away grounds up and down the country in the 1980s supporting City and although the football often wasn't anthing to write home about there was so much more to the experience." "Like there was this one ball boy up north way, Newcastle I think, around 1988 who I pictured as a dungeons and dragons type." "He had this sort of calm, soft, geekiness about him, with this hair cut. I don't know you could say it was kind of a bowl cut with bed hair and those ears!" "It's a wonder he didn't get frost bite." "And when I look back on it, it was him who I could see as Harry Potter in my mind that day on the train." "The sort of child who needs a bit of magic to make them special." Twenty years on, it seems after much searching Ms Rowling has found the really Harry Potter, among the magic of St James's Park. 10. The big Lebowski. It's been a while since I've seen this and after watching O Brother, Where art thou? the night before I remembered why I love and hate Coen brothers films. Lebowski is one of those films with really great characters teamed up with really shite characters. Guys (or dudes) you like and complete fuckheads that just make you cringe with everything they do and the Coen brother have an art of producing those characters. But in a parky scale of 1 to 10, I've heard it's worth a 7.5
  11. They're an Australian brand that Craig Johnston was involved in setting up after his Predator fiasco with adidas. I've never owned a pair before but I've got mates who wear them and rave about them. For $90 they can be training boots. At the moment I wear copa mundials and profi's because the ground is so hard here (I use to wear predators also) but we've had so much rain in the last month that I wanted to try different studs as the round moulded aren't getting a lot of grip and screw in studs are a waste of money for anyone but rugby players. Here have a look. Their site always has great specials, so if you register they will notify you when it's happening. http://www.shopnomis.com/uk/
  12. See, this is why I get pissed off when they get knocked out. That picture should replace the toontastic banner tbh. See if we signed a couple of sweds not only would the cold not bother them, they'd bring flange like these lasses to our support.
  13. Seriously you are joking with those first two questions, aren't you? Yes it was an odd reply but it was a light hearted banter playing upon the "double dutch" comment. no, i'm not. I've no recollection of pm'ing you or telling you my name at all steve, we've been posting on the same messageboards since about 2000, it's not hard to remember someone's name, especially when they themselves have used it once or twice in their posts. You don't really think craig's name is craig do you? but you haven't always been sammynb, right ? Actually, I thought Craigs name is Craig, why not ? He used to be chayton, right ? Four years ago a 125mb was over $100! Oh from here: www.officeworks.com.au The shipping will probably kill it. Why you telling us then? Well alex if you ask nicely

  19. sounds a bit double dutch to me !! Buffalo girls go round the outside. Round the outside. Round the outside. are you on drugs or something Depends on what you define as drugs leaze. Just ask some of the younger folk, they might be able to explain it to you. sadly, I don't have the inclination to either understand what you are saying or try to. If you can't explain yourself , then its really your problem and it says everything. For fuck's sake steve, take your grumpy pants off and actually have a joke for once in your life! You would know after all these years I have no problem with you and often agree with a lot of what you say but if you are so wound up you can't join in a bit of banter then there isn't much point in using a message board, is there? Here maybe this will help: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_Dutch_%28song%29 And the follow up single: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duck_Rock
