  1. I would automatically have assumed that was going to be something filthy happening, if it wasn't forthe bloke on the phone doing amateur dramatics.
  2. Couple of the lads and me have just recently booked a three week trip to America in April. Flying Newcastle - Paris - Atlanta - Vegas - LA (I know, lazy) - New York - Amsterdam - Newcastle. Got those flights for £580. Haven't decided whether or not to do the Canyon and Hoover Dam yet, one of the other two have already been to Vegas and done it anyway.
  3. Get an appointment with STA Travel, mate. People think they're just for students and people in their early twenties but they aren't. They got me a canny deal on Australia a couple of years back and have just done it again for a trip I'm taking to America.
  4. Happy Birthday, have a good one!
  5. Alreet! I remember you saying you were ill, you on the mend now? Nice to see you can get back on here anyway!
  6. 1. I have just repeated fact 1 from the post above, and as a result I've now wasted an hour of my life. 2. See fact 2 above. 3. See fact 3 above. 4. I no longer have the problem I had in the previous fact 4 as I can now drive. 5. See fact 5 above. Bonus fact above is pure bullshit, by the way.
  7. Luke man, you lost about 4 stone when you went from having a shaved head to growing that high top with full sideburn face furntiure. I barely recognised you. I never realised how big my sideburns were like, then I saw a side view photo of meself and nearly shat bricks! I looked like Elvis and probably had the same blood pressure. Nice and neat now, you'll be pleased to hear.
  8. 5' 9" and 15 stone 6. Considering I used to be 19.5 stone, chubby jibes will fall on deaf ears.

    Driving

You're in the same boat as me then! Same learner age and same road experience in the form of a scooter. It's hard to say how much you'll pay per lesson, like. Lots of people do deals on blocks of lessons. When I was looking it was anywhere between £16 and £20 per lesson. This was only a year ago. By the way.. it's obviously money and time dependant, but if you can, try and get yourself a lesson a week and just stick at it. It helps.
  10. Still in service as of November 2008, that. It got me back from Singapore to London. Just.
  11. Daft bitch on a Hen Doo in town after the Wigan game, stumbling up past The Gate singing 'all the cigarettes' instead of 'all the single ladies' with one of her friends quietly tugging on her L plate trying to correct her.
  12. Qantas A380 engine blew up after take off from Singapore yesterday apparently..
  13. Did French and German at school. Ditched French and chose German as one of my GCSE subjects. Got a better grade in it than English. I really enjoyed it. Didn't think it was super hard and the rules weren't all that bad once you got your head around it. I really want to get fluent in it actually, just for the craic. Nee idea where to start though. Allegedly Scandinavian languages are a complete and utter pain in the arse to learn. Bumped into a Norwegian Mag on Sunday that I'd met in Oslo when we played Valarenga, and he was quick to remind me that I was fucking useless at trying to learn Norwegian the last time I spoke to him.
  14. An inkredibly short lived career.
  15. I thought it was only called that in hotel buffets! I don't really drink anything other than normal tea or coffee. Have had Earl Grey before when the normal tea has ran out because my Dad drinks it occasionally. That's about it.
  16. I might not be 100% right here but I'm sure I'm there or thereabouts.. I think it was originally done as a one off at the end of the season a few years back. The idea was that the pitch getting fucked wouldn't matter as it was about to be completely relaid. The club were letting people sign up with a team of players, and you were then given a time and date to turn up. This was for roughly £75 a head. I'm not sure if you were able to choose your opposition or not, and I can't tell you how long the games lasted. Since then it's been done again, still at the end of the season but obviously the pitch hasn't been relaid, it's just that there's plenty time for it to be repaired I'd assume. I very much doubt you'd get a game on it in the middle of the season, regardless of how much you'd pay. They're really particular about looking after the surface, and rightly so.
  17. To be honest, I thought it was you celebrating your move to the States!
  18. Either that or get him to rip out the p, s, D, r, e, c and t. Sports Direct
