  1. Pilfered from elsewhere but the fit Mam from The Inbetweeners is back..
  2. Aye. I suppose it's all about what you want really, innit? If I had the choice of both, and was after loads of on demand stuff I'd go for Virign. If I wanted more HD channels and the like, I'd go for Sky. Like I say though, again if the choice was there, for me the broadband would be Virgin without question.
  3. I've ended up on a bit of a rant here like, but.. We had this one for a long time:- It was a fucking nightmare. We had it replaced about three times but they were all the same. Really really fucking slow to respond and if you watched anything over an hour long, getting it to come back to life again afterwards was a joke. Accessing the on demand stuff was crap aswell, used to just hang all the time. I was ready to drop kick the last one out the window. Then a few months ago I was looking about on the net and realised they had started installing this Samsung one for new customers:- I rang them up and told them we were going to fuck the telly off because we were sick of the crap boxes. They sent an engineer out as standard to replace it and when he got here I basically told him we didn't want another one of the old ones. Eventually after a fair bit of persuasion he gave us one of the new ones. Miles better. Instant response and doesn't have half as many problems. Their on demand stuff pisses on Sky IMO, but I still think Sky are ahead of the game when it comes to TV. For now. Sky are about to change thier package structure aswell so that there's only 2 basic packages, and then the two premium ones, and I reckon when that happens it might sway a few people thier way. As for the broadband though.. if it's available in your area I wouldn't look past it to be honest. I've had it since Telewest first launched it and in all that time (must be over 11 years now?) it's been off twice. One of those times was a netowrk problem, and the other was because the neighbour put his shovel through the cable when he was gardening. I've used most of the popular ADSL packages available because of the job I used to do, and while they're good when they work, I think Virgin's is more reliable. To be honest there's probably less can go wrong with Cable, or if it does it's a bit easier to get fixed anyway.
  4. Good. Have always wanted to see them but they keep evading me, hoped they would do Coachella but they didn't. Going to Rock en Seine in Paris at the end of August and they're headlining the Friday. Finally!
  5. Had these italias for a bit, but they're getting a bit fucked now: Got these the other day:
  6. You might like this. Whey if he doesn't, I do! Cheers. I thought it was an incredible place, like. Can't wait to go back.
  7. The only thing that might ruin it for me on closer inspection is the diagonal stripes. I don't mean the black ones either.
  8. Aye row R isn't the back like, that's my row. The view is spot on but it does have it's fair share of flaskies and moaners. I've learned to shut it out though, they don't seem to mind if I get animated like, they just don't join in. Care to divulge your seat like, HF? Just in case I have to let you in and out and that..
  9. You were quite close to me when you had your 'red' seat like, Stevie. I'm just accross the stairs and down a bit.
  10. Chemical Brothers - Star Guitar Message tone varies more than my ringtone most of the time but it's been Oz off Auf Pet shouting 'Has that bastard given in yet, Dennis?' for ages.

I hadn't had Blue Moon or Goose Island til I went to America, but there was a couple of nights we were sick of the usual lager fare so we gave them both a shot. To be fair though we only bought Goose Island because the tap was a plastic Goose, and it was staring at me. Blue Moon by the pint was lush but pretty strong I think, if the night was anything to go by. We were getting the orange slice in the pint aswell, with that and another one called Shock Top.
  13. I think the one sinking in boro is the Royale, not the Princess. The latter ended up in Greece or something like that. Not that it makes much difference like, they were both Docked on the Tyne and bursting at the portholes with slack bints at one time or another.

    Holidays

Got back from America on Tuesday morning. Loved it, everywhere we went was brilliant. Shouldn't have spent 5 nights in Vegas though, 3 or 4 would have done it for various reasons! Got major holiday blues like, we crammed so much into three weeks. Wierdly even though the whole trip was superb, by the time we got to New York (the best place I have ever been, ever) it felt like we'd been away for donkeys. 2 months in Australia flew by in comparison. Also, got back at 10:30am english time so I tried to stay awake until night time to avoid fucking my sleep patterns up. Wasn't easy as by 2pm I'd been up 24 hours and spent a lot of it rushing round and flying. Finally gave up and passed out at 10pm. Woke up at 3 this afternoon. 17 hours for fucks sake Smashed my kip record there! Got some graft to do in the gym now like.
  15. Leaving for America on Thursday for a couple of weeks. Ganna be in Atlanta for wolves, Vegas for villa, LA for the mancs and New York for Blackpool. Quite looking forward to watching the matches over there. If it's anything like it was for some of the ones we watched in Singapore or Australia it'll be canny!
