Trying to pick up on some of the historical references in that thread. This was in the thick of the "board wars" fallout iirc and a lot of it relates to HTT. I think he called this place a 'pale immitation' and kept claiming N-O was the 'oldest Newcastle forum on the internet' (despite it only being about a year old at the time). Does he have owt to do with N-O anymore? I've never even been on there so wouldn't know. Don't think so, too busy trying to hang the 12ft shark he bought from the ceiling of his bedroom now. We're definitely cutting staff in December like, worrying but if worst does happen I'll go it alone and definitely make more money by far long term. Sleepless nights at the minute for some of us though. I think half the country are worried about their jobs, I always thought the OB would be safe from these cuts but they're shedding 20% of the Northumbria Police, and me mate he's just bought a house with a 180k mortgage so hes shitting it. Aye up and doon but it'll be areet, the toon are keeping my spirits high at the minute though. Good luck, at least you have some plans in case it does happen. Cheers mate.
