We were without our best striker yet still pretty much dominated them tbf. Carroll would've scored for sure had he been playing. It's a game we needed to win, so it doesn't particularly matter how many we put past them. I'm just happy that the win will bring a little confidence when going into games like this.

Having been to Genoa, I'm calling bs on this one.

Ability wise, he's one of the worst I've seen in a Reading shirt. Really can't shoot (yet shoots at any opportunity), can't pass to a teammate and every tackle he puts in is of the sliding variety. Plus, he's ginger. Brilliant leader however and it's no coincidence Reading weren't the same without his influence in the dressing room. His strength is that he tends to get the team playing well in spite of him. Wouldn't want him at NUFC, we already have Alan Smith.
