Last time we could be easily pleased with out team was when we beat Olympiakos after both legs in the UEFA Cup. Yet to witness a half-decent first-half performance from us this season.

Fair enough Lampard is more consistent, but technically Gerrard is IMO clearly superior. He makes more tackles and their passes are hard to choose between, but he is IMO a better free-kick taker and has far more influence on the game than Lampard. Doesn't score as many though. I can't see Lampard performing like Gerrard did in the CL final.
