  1. Great shout. Unbelievably good footballer. Played over 600 games for Inter over 15 years, 40 games a season over that length of time at that level is outstanding.
  2. http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/nufc/newcas...72703-26018039/ Check the comments out. If these aren't generated from within the club I'll eat my own cock.
  3. I personally think that the fans have a lot to answer for, 52k groans when a player gives the ball away, no support for players that are struggling for form. It must be like walking a tightrope everytime they step out at SJP. The list of players that got better away from SJP is staggering really.
  4. It won't happen but I think Robbie Keane would be an ideal signing.
  5. I recently read about the original ending to this, and it sounded much better. Care to share it with the group?
  6. Not sure he's likely to come for 15k a week. I doubt the wage cap will be 15k in the prem. I don't share your optimism, but let's hope that Ashley takes a pragmantic view on it. He's not going to be able to find a striker that will score goals in the premier league for 15k a week, without getting very lucky on someone young and foreign.
  7. The man is capable of doing that, although he'd almost certainly wait until we're celebrating the title and then have Decca hand out some leaflets entitled 'not so fast fuckers'.
  8. That's crazy talk. Carrick is to Guthrie what Winona Ryder is to Fizz off Corrie. Guthrie's passing is very erratic, I've seen him have games where 5 yard passes prove difficult.
  9. Barton is proof that the law of averages will bite you in the end. Our oddious twat count is pretty high so sooner or later one or more of them are going to royally fuck you over: Dyer Woodgate Bellamy Bowyer Barton The previous regime clearly liked to take a 'gamble' on problem players.
  10. As well as the expensive signings under LardAsh, in addition to the cheaper buys this last transfer window, is it not true that he inherited a lot of transfer fees still outstanding? I'd be surprised if this wasn't true, because I thought it was a fact that transfer fees are staggered by most clubs over years. I'm sure he (LardAsh) said so himself about the outstanding fees to be paid - not that that makes it necessarily true of course Then there's the reduced gate money. 40k attendances are good, but the prices are nowhere near Prem prices. So, apart from his buys when he first took over, the rising debt could well be pretty much out of his hands? Yeah, yeah, I know, I know, he could have avoided the relegation if he's splashed a bit more cash. However, I wonder if that argument (let's not pretend it's anything other than an easy one to make) could ever be proved????? Crikey, I'll be on his fuckin' Christmas card list if I keep this up !!!!!!!111 He didn't even need to splash that much cash, actually replacing Keegan with a permenant manager would probably have done.
  11. I do recall being very excited about him signing. I thought he was regularly excellent for Man City. It's fair to say I've been somewhat disappointed.
  12. LOL Seen this happen quite a few times while i was playing! This shouldn't be allowed, technically should be a corner I think *goes away to consult referee handbook*.
  13. Cant you get away with a bit of patio growing? Some strawberries in hanging baskets, taties in a bin, tomatoes up a fance? That's my plan in the meantime, but you're never going to get much of a crop that way. Thankfully by the time I get my allotment I'll be just about 35 and therefore achieve Stevie approval!!
  14. Having grown loads last year, I've just moved house and don't want to dig up what is essentially a nice garden, so I've just signed up for my local allotment. The waiting list ... 33 months. Figure it'll be a nice thing for me and the bairn to do who'll be 2 by then (gulp)..
  15. The ball seemed to take an awfully long time to get to the goal. His legs were made for running not kicking!!
  16. Michael Hutchence died 13 years ago. I've tried holding my breath during a wank, but 30 seconds isn't really long enough to expire. Which begs the question, How close to death do you need to be to get the full pleasure of the asphyxiwank? Is it possible that he forgot to undo the belt after being distracted mid-vinegar stroke. RIP by the way.

Zog is the poster boy for the badly advised footballer.
  18. There was a piece on 5 Live this morning about this. A parallel was drawn about two boys in Norway who killed a young girl. The way Norway dealt with the murder was in stark contrast to that of James Bulger's. In Norway, no children under 15 are prosecuted and the killers were back at kindergarten within a week. The local community were encouraged to air their views and brought together to grieve openly. A team of counsellors was set up to work with the children in school. The strategy worked and, amazingly, there were no reprisals against either of the boys or their families. They were able to carry on living on the local housing estate. IMO at six you have an awareness of right/wrong, but no great grasp of how heinous what they were doing was, is that something you'd appreciate by 10? Vital. What with Guthrie's delivery and Carroll and Ameobi up front we could be a force to be reckoned with. Do you think Stoke would sell Delap?

Don't be fooled, Alex is running a social experiment to find out who's juvenile enough to laugh at the word 'botter'
  21. My computer picked up a virus the other day, which commonly comes from Facebook apps according to our IT. It basically freezes your computer and starts a virus search which you can't stop. Then it asks you to buy some anti-virus that will rid you of the virus, that actually wasn't really a virus in the first place. Quite a clever scam and at $30 a time someone is making a killing.
  22. Solo sex game, police took a belt and a bag away from the house, according to the Daily Mail.
