I doubt the pre-existing German set-up was anything like that of a Premiership club. SSH, you do know that Klinsmann employed a very similar strategy to that of Big Sam's when he took over the German national team? He brought in specialist fitness trainers, coaches and medical staff from all over the world in a bid to improve the national squad, much to the annoyance of the German FA.
