    If we sign Galloway, we'll have him, Haidara, Gamez and Clark who can all genuinely play leftback. That should leave us absolutely no need for Dummett.

    Burnley apparently after Dummett. I think it would be wrong of us to stand in the way of his big move. I for one would be quite happy to volunteer my car as transport.

    Came out of that film and immediately googled quaaludes to see if we could get them anywhere. Was disapointed to find out South Africa is basically the only place you can get them now.

    A lot of big fees end up being spent at the end of the transfer window (look at Caroll) so I don't think it necessarily follows that it would have happened by now. Also, quite often a big deal kicks off other ones. Obviously Pogba is the biggest deal and then also Stones is (ridiculously) massive so I can see other big deals following on from those. They might not directly effect Sissoko with him going to Juve but the cash moving about could end up with someone who wants him.

    I did quite enjoyed it but I did think it was a missed opportunity and quite poorly done in a lot of ways. Slipknot's role was embarassing tbh.

    Also I couldn't make the 2D showing so we went to the 3D. This was an absolute joke. I'm not really a fan of most 3D films, the only three I've seen where I really thought it worked were Avatar, Gravity and Piranha 3D. But charging extra for it on this film was insulting. There's fuck all 3D in it absolutely no need for it anyway.

    I didn't have any problems with her acting but that may be just because I was just staring at her ever second she was on screen. I don't know much about the comics but yes it did seem to me that it should have been a lot darker and more violent, especially as the two main characters have no real super powers and are rather just psychotic/expert killers. Nolan got the tone perfectly for me on the Dark Knight and this should have went further than that but it's clearly aimed at a younger audience than me.

    That would be the ideal scenario for me. A shit team being the only one who will pay for him. We get the money we want and he goes and plays once or twice a season for a team he thinks he's better than.

    Went to see Suicide Squad at the weekend. I didn't have particularly high expectations so came out of it content with what I saw. Some of the writing is terrible though and there's at least a couple of characters (Captain Boomerang and Katana) that are comepletely pointless. Robocop wasn't great in it but Leto was a decent (if completely underused) Joker and Smith wasn't too bad. But the undoubted star of the show was Margot Robbie's arse. They could make a trilogy just staring her arse and it wouldn't get remotely boring.

    Regardless of whether we sign Galloway we need to do that and I think Rafa is well aware of that. Fwiw, I saw Galloway play a few times last season and he looked perfectly comfortable as a leftback. Seemed happy enough to go forward too.

    I see Ryder is saying that Galloway is an initial loan with a view to buy. I'll be very happy with that. Might take the shine off the deal for CT though.

    The handing in of a transfer request thing is complete bollocks like. He's effective been doing that in the press since May anyway.

    I want to see Aarons given a go but fear he'd be wasted a bit with either Gayle or Perez up top as they're not going to get on the end of too many crosses. Perez playing wide might provide better amunition for Gayle.

    That Monkees album is brilliant. Most of the songs sound like I could have heard them on the old show when they used to repeat it in the summer holidays when I was a bairn. Really like the Whitney album too.
