    Aye Vince hasn't really looked any more like he's getting to grips with test match cricket in the final test of the summer than he did in the first. Ali is showing what a good batsman he is and he's more likely to continue to do that further up the order. We'll definitely need another spinner in the winter too.

    I think you move Ali up the order and bring in Rashid as the fronline spinner. Ali seems to bat spin pretty well too.

    It's been a pretty awful pre season for them really. Not in terms of results on the pitch (think they've won a few) or in terms of whhat they've ended up with as manager but in terms of the uncertainty and lack of squad building. They seem to feel like they're in a good position because they ended last season on a high, but that high only lifted them to forth bottom and so far their squad is weaker.

    They have signed that kid who played 5 minutes for Chelsea though! I thought Mvilla was still looking likely? But aye if they lose Kone they're not looking at all good and they're only a reasonable Defoe injury away from meltdown.

    Hull and Burnley are almost guaranteed for relegation at this stage but Swansea are certainly making the effort to join them.

    Watched A Hologram For The King last night. Hanks was good as always but I'm not really sure what the point of the film is.

    Aye Collingwood made a right arse of that over. Fortunately Borthwick pulled him out of the shit with the last three balls of it then Arshad and Wood bowled two excellent overs. Wood looks very sharp.

    He's never been fit enough to oust those players out of the team before. We obviously believe he has talent but Rafa needs the confidence that he's going to be able to rely on him regularly being fit. It's up to him from here.

    Apparently our stats are better with him in the team. That's not really surprising since for the past couple of seasons, if he's not been playing, it's generally been a coming back from injury Haidara or a midfielder playing there.

    Mbabu isn't anymore of a leftback than Gamez. And Dummett isn't a real leftback either.
