  1. Babayaro will be bombing down the dole office. He got made bankrupt the other year.
  2. I really don't think they're capable (or allowed) to say anything truly positive anymore for fear that it might get us all pumped up and expecting miracles like winning margins of more than one goal or trips to fifth round of the cup!
  3. I actually did hear that Quinn's language was very choice when he got arrested for drink driving. The makems actually know this but refuse to believe it. I'm sure some of them beleive he put money in the swear box at the hospital because he's just that good a guy!
  4. I don't really know any of the details but would it make any difference if he was claiming to be taking back the money from the relegation loan or what he put in at the begining? We're not paying interest on either are we? Totally agree he was to blame for the relegation anyway so he should just have written the whole thing off.
  5. I notice he talks about losing goals with players out of position when we are chasing more goals. Straight out of Pardews coaching manual that one!
  6. Can't see any reason why someone convicted of something like that should ever be released regardless of how old they are.
  7. Aye, my vocabulary isn't sufficient to properly express me feelings either. Which is a coincidence since most makems vocabulary isn't sufficient either
  8. I don't think the weeping jesus smiley covers it any more!
  9. So in short, it's just a complete waste of time. I suspect they will keep doing these, giving basically zero important information until the fans just completely ignore them. Then they will end them saying that they tried to engage with the fans but we weren't interested.
  10. His brothers scored 6 in 11 so far this season. Maybe he was more Pardewed than we thought.
  11. I think he did struggle with footballing injuries las season too but in seven seasons with Ajax he manged 35 games or more 4 times so he's hardly Marcelino.
  12. I know, I originally typed something responding to what I changed it to then I realised that wasn't what he typed. It's a bit early to have been drinking that much Fish! I could see us getting a couple of wins (maybe QPR & Burnley) and then scraping a few draws. I think it's pretty unlikely we'll get into double figure points from those games.
  13. With the parachute payments it's quite conceivable he would expect us to get promoted again straight away and not lose much at all in the year out. I certainly don't think relegation would make it anywhere near inevitable he would be away.

Especially when we know he missed a lot of last season with a punctured lung.
  15. I can't see any realistic timeline for him leaving at the minute. If the governing bodies said he couldn't own both us and Rangers that might force a decision but I don't see them being more valuable to him than us so I think it would be them who would benefit from any such ruling. As long as we provide him the platform for improving SD, I think he'll keep on utilising us for that purpose and nothing more.
  16. But how would he be against Sunderland? We need to consider the important questions!
  17. The praise Obertan has received from some quarters is ridiculous really. Yes he was probably our best player on Saturday but really he had nothing more than an ok game. Yes that's a massive step up from where he's been previously and if he can even just maintain that then he can finally be someone that can contribute to the squad. But the Chronicle scored him a 9! Fuck me gently, if that's a 9 there's something seriously wrong with premier league football.
  18. Wise move. Just like reading Pardew, the more I read the more I want to hit something!
  19. The three who were sent home from the internationals are all supposed to be fit aren't they. And I doubt Riviere would have started anyway so I can't see that this changes his plans much at all. Cisse and Tiote's energy levels after the long trips they've had (as well as two games when they'd both been out injured for a while) is probably the bigger issue.
  20. He could hardly work hard with the players who weren't here could he! What a fucking mong!
  21. He says his lass stops his ego from getting out of hand. She's obviously doing a stellar job there!
