It was KK that brought him in... Same as all those youngsters were more than likely spotted by scouts and recommended to the club with Wise having the job to convince them to sign (which he failed with a couple of promising youngsters, like Vokes).

He looked more than committed in the majority of games he played for Newcastle tbh. I couldn't care less about his living arrangements. The article suggests his living arrangements have had a negative impact on his relationship with his team mates, and I can see why. His commitment on the pitch isn't in doubt, but I'd expect him to promote the club and city more off the pitch as well. I had the same issue with Gullit living in Amsterdam. Sorry, but frankly I find it insulting. His team mates are probably offended that Owen doesn't go clubbing with them and making himself look like a tit. The lifestyle of most players looks way more unprofessional to me than Owen's. Commuting with a helicopter (although Owen has more than once said this is a myth) is in the end maybe a bit extravagant but not worse than arriving after an hours drive in your bloody humvee. Though Owen might have a bad handwriting as well. Seriously I can't understand all the fuzz and stick Owen gets.

Master of the mullet but apart from this? I told you it's irrational. I think it stems from the match against Holland at Italia 90 tbh. Obviously didn't care much for Rijkaard either for much the same reasons. So you hate a player because he got spat at? He did take being German if you know what I mean to a whole new level in that match. No, I don't.

Master of the mullet but apart from this? I hate Ashley Cole as well as any diving cunt. And selfish players who are lacking talent like Oba Martins!

Official Match thread: Newcastle United Vs Arsenal

Owen and Jonas on the bench. Championship here we come! -
I shouldn't post when I'm drunk. I probably bumped the wrong thread. My marriage isn't my problem. But my mother died a couple of weeks ago and my wife and my father can't stand each other. My life feels like I am getting beaten up by Mike Tyson again and again at the moment.

I got my membercard and keyring today. I am (sort of) proud to be number No. 861. I have to say that I am a tad bit disappointed with what I got though. I am not too happy with the logo "Striving for a positive change". While it might be correct for the moment it is not not the slogan for a supporters club, but really more for a protest group. There are obviously loads of people not really agreeing to the original agenda of the NUSC. So why promoting it in this kind of way. Anyway, I thought a supporters club should be "above" of a club's success. What strive of change will be here if Ashley & Co. see light or pack it in? I think the current public appeacance of the NUSC is still really ill advised and loads of mistages are done. I really would offer my help, not only for foreign branches but also for at least having a bit of common sense and not just dropping one clanger after the next ...

Unfortunately it all went down hill.

I hope you are not referring to my post.

Tynetalk these days is largely the dumbest of the dumb. Lawton must be going senile if he's taking opinion from there As I've said I think we'll end up with Poyet. I also suspect it'll be grim. A couple of good months in the third division apart he's done nothing at all in management. It's another managerial disaster in the making. Might not be the biggest forum in the world but at least they have good footballing discussions. Some on here just want to agree with each other no matter what. Perpetual arse licking really. Not only that, we are snobby as well.

They already have an option to tie him down for another year, haven't they? He would have been mad to accept a different offer (if there has ever been one) when given the opportunity to manage Real.

Ashley to try to halt season ticket sale decline...
Isegrim replied to smoggeordie's topic in Newcastle Forum
That's the thing (and the same applies to the supposed meeting with people who didn't renew their executive boxes). You'll only fool most people once and then they'll never trust you again. I mean, how stupid does he think people are? You want an answer? See http://www.newcastle-online.org/nufcforum/...board,14.0.html -
Ashley to try to halt season ticket sale decline...

It's strange and ridiculous how out of touch they seem to be. The only moment where it looked like they understood football as a business was when they appointed Keegan and reeped the reward. Shame they did their very best to shoot themselves in the feet (nine times). -
Scored, probably now going to be the newest greatest player ever...
