  1. I met him in a Casino in Lisbon. He is still playing (or was then) top flight portugese football. Hardly a fall from grace. Where he played a grand sum of 13 games. He's played for 5 clubs since leaving Newcastle three years ago and getting released by every club after a short time. If that's not a fall from grace...
  2. Speaking of obsession, I found it quite funny of Fop walking into other threads following mancy...
  3. JFK on .cock: "Now we've got players who can come on and really change a game." Err, yes Joe, so why not actually use them?
  4. WummyB has really outdone himself here.
  5. 5 in 12 games, shocking. Even more annoying, apart from Beye's they were all justified and down to the clumsyness and/or stupidity of our players...
  6. Would you be happy with him as Spurs manager? He was a good servant to Spurs in the past. Great in the 67 cup final for us apparently...bit before my time mind. I'm aware of that. Now are you going to answer my question? I would give him a chance, I'm still not Redknap's biggest fan but hes doing the business so Im happy to be wrong. So do you rate Kinnear higher than Redknapp? As a person or a manager? Take a guess. Then no but I would certainly be giving him more of a chance than some on here. Coming from someone who was physically sick after "Redkrapp" got the Spurs job that's quite funny tbh. Kinnear would get the same chance to prove everybody wrong in the same way the likes of Souness, Roeder or Allardyce got. Or "Redkrapp" at Spurs for this matter. But actually wanting him is just a totally other thing. As I have already said in this thread, I have never really liked Redknapp, but I am giving him a chance and he has my full support, I am glad hes proving me wrong. And so would the vast of us do with Kinnear if he got appointed permantently. Not much sign of that on here yesterday. I think he proved himself worthy over the last few weeks and for the sake of a little bit of continuity, should be kept on. He isn't the permanent manager yet though. And that's how he is judged. You don't rate him higher than Redknapp - who you don't like. But we should be happy about him being made permanent manager. You're really tiresome in your attempts to be controversial.

  9. Eh, what is the editing of the quoted text about? You could have at least included some italics too.
  10. At least JFK has shown why he should only be a stop gap solution. Fucking awful decisions today. It there some unknown directive at the club for managers not to do sensible substitutions? He should have rectified his error to play Cacapa at least at half time. Why he waited so long to bring on Owen is just beyond me. But for Jonas, even though he was sloppy and poor today, and playing Martins down the left? Martins was absolutely gash today, probably to be expected after he had a decent game. It really must be awful to get told of by Ameobi for not having any kind of understanding about movement. And Charlie really must be stinking. Though you wouldn't leave him near you on the bench in that case...
  11. Typically offside, but who cares. We still should make changes though...
  12. I was just about to type the very same.
  13. The problem is though, that once you are owned by a billionaire and have a fair amount of funds other clubs think they have the right to hold you to ransom.
  14. Well, I have it and know where it is. Unfortunately I don't have a video recorder to play it anymore.

    Shola

Aye you are right. Not like Owen and Viduka keep them they've been great. Shola (as said) has played with an injury (owen n Viduka just need to fart to be out a month) He costs a fraction and he has had loads of arseholes who boo him or get on his back at the drop of a hat. He's not that good but he's better value for money than the ward 14 twins. Is Owen not a leech (do you want to wait until Jan. to answer that) That's a smeeeagain, isn't it?
  16. Kristall would definitely be my drink of choice on a night out in Jormany. Tastes a bit strange over here, but that's no doubt all in the head. Has the correct way to pour it into a glass reached England yet? Anyway, I've nearly finished working for today. On the way back I'll make a quick visit to the supermarket. Probably get myself a couple of bottles of Franziskaner or Paulaner. Erdinger isn't really one of the better German wheat beers tbh. I like Bitburger and have started to drink a fair bit of it since Tesco started stocking it regularly. Is it considered ok or shite in Germany, Wolfy? Depends a bit. Beer taste in regards to "Pils" is very much a regional thing in Jormany. Bitburger is well liked in the west, but probably not so much in the south I'd say because it's rather dry and aromatic. I reckon it's a decent beer though.
  17. Btw. This (although a bit too slow): But not this:

  19. It's Belgian you tit I just think it tastes discernibly nicer. It's obviously similar but it doesn't have that shitty taste and the hangover isn't as bad either. Presumably the water source is the difference. It's difficult to get here now though. Beck's is good stuff as well (only ever brewed in Germany, no coincidence). Even something like 1664, which is bland as fuck if you get the stuff over here is a genuinely nice lager if you get it in France. Stronger as well. Same goes for Grolsch, the proper Dutch stuff is different class. I'm not sure if it's catering to the bland British beer drinkers' palates or what but it can't just be a coincidence. Agree with the general sentiments. My brother says Carlsberg is a whole different beer if you're over in Copenhagen. You're right about Becks only being imported. And it shows IMO. Except of this horrible Four stuff that is solely produced for you philistines. Vier? That stuff is rubbish. Ja.
  20. There's a load of estimates, ranging from that to much, much higher (the wiki one seems to be a very specific one based on pretty hardcore practising muslims - which clearly is about as representative as the non-alcohol drinkers don't live as long statistical analysis). Yes there are vague and at times contradictory, but the weight of evidence (as well as just basic immigration maths) comes down on at least 8m and possibly up to double that. Out of interest (and don't look it up) just how "white" or "black" do you think he is? I know he is of mixed race because his Dad was from Africa and his Grandmother (who just died) was white. I thought it was obvious he was of mixed race. I note you still avoided supplying a source for your figures which only reinforces my view you made them up. Like I said "how much"? I'd assumed half and half (-ish). Not sure in all honesty. Your point? (Being hopeful, obviously given you couldn't supply the source for your made-up stats). Like I said what I stated is quite within the weight of evidence, but you're right I've not personally checked how many muslims currently live in the USA. However plenty of others have. Must be fellow freemasons as you are so coy to actually name them...

  22. Oh Jeez Tom, you really are as thick as two short planks aren't you? Don't be mean to Tom. He's vulnerable, remember? Bitter. Danke? Two letters away from being spot on. ?
  23. Harris is getting confused by his own rumour mongering now... http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11095_4339603,00.html With a propensity for lying to fans like this it's no wonder Ashley wanted him on the payroll. To be fair to him, the quote in the second text only says that he had more or less only read about it, but weren't seen as serious because they couldn't provide simple things to establish that there is a genuine interest. So to say, that they don't seem to exist isn't really a contradiction tbh.
