Neither Poland nor a Hessian flag there so I went for the gay one...

Tonight my heart is supporting Barca, but my head is thinking that meeting Chelsea's B side in the cup wouldn't be too bad....

Even better... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Book-Football-Graeme...1QQcmdZViewItem

Was called Paratrooper I think, and aye. His banter was always class though, funny piss takes. That's fair enough IMO. Just the ones that embarass our fans I don't like! 104142 Don't be so harsh to yourself...

Eh? So all we have to do is playing him on the right wing?

I've just seen a seven year old Harry Potter book for just under 300k, really can't get my head around that. 104105 You mean this galley proof? http://dogbert.abebooks.com/servlet/BookDe...63%26sortby%3D1 Ridiculous.

The best way to valuate your books is having a look at online antiquaries like abebooks.com. Having just a quick glance the 2nd edition from 1966 is sold for around $ 2,000. If you have one of them it might in fact be worth a bit. Too bad you don't have the first edition from 1955 which is sold for around $ 20,000 (the highest price is $ 45,000). There have to be quite a range of rich nerds around...

And this from todays article ... I don't know whose memory is better - Taylor's or mine - but wasn't it Uncle Bobby who gave him his full debut (I would have looked it up at .com but they are down). 103881 SBR gave him his debut at Bolton IIRC. He played him at right back and he promptly made the mistake that led to their opener after a few minutes. 103883 Exactly, that's the game I had in mind.

I agree that it's the more difficult matches a manager should get judged by. You also have to take into account that we only played one game away from home under Roeder. Though, the difference to Souness's winning streak in his honeymoon period is that we weren't playing micky mouse teams recently (except Pompey). The good thing Roeder definitely has done is giving the team a bit shape and structure and getting the confidence back by winning games comfortably and not just scraping results. There is still a handful of managers I do prefer to him, but he definitely is ahead of the names of Bruce etc. who are probably still in Fat Fred's mind.

Hooray! If only we had got rid of the tosser earlier... -
Joking aside, a Smart isn't a bad car if look for a small city car. It's right that the company is struggling as it made heavy losses in recent years (their head quarters are close to where I live, a friend got sacked as they had to cut jobs). So they stopped the production of the roadster as it wasn't selling very well. No wonder because the car looks shite and isn't very handy (and if you want a small roadster you are in fact better of with a Mazda). If I was going to buy a Smart it would only be the "normal" one.

Now that's a beast, the kind of car that commands respect, so you don't have to. It says brandy in the board room, cheap flings with Brazilian lingerie models and skiing in St Moritz with Chuck Norris; just a shame it doesn't come in hot pink. 103037 tbh

There will be an international fan congress ahead of the WC early in April (6th/7th) in Bonn. On the agenda are topics like commercialisation, security and racism. I can't make it but got asked to point people to it who might be interested. Accomodation will be paid for (and as much as I understand travelling expenses). There will be fans from all around the world taking part in the congress as well as prominent people from Jorman football (e.g. Olaf Thon who scored from the penalty spot in Italia 1990) and sports media. The congress will be hosted by a Jorman political foundation. If anyone is seriously interested I will send him the details via pm or mail.

The major problem I have with O'Neill coming is Anal O. will start every second about how he received a phone call from Glasgow on the way back from Wigan...

I don't want an Irishman as manager. They are all drunken bastards.

I quite like Barcelona but tonight was a terrible result...

Is that an euphemism?

I think DotBum should know.

99262 The thing is that in the few Villa games I have seen this season Milner put in some quality crosses. He also didn't look like running in slow motion..
