I take it its just shortness of breath and worrying about all sorts of absurd things, and not a full on Tony Soprano one? I get them, I used to get bad ones but they seem to have passed. I've managed to relax. I found they were linked with unhappiness or some sort of insecurity in life, and of course anxiety, something I suffer from too much. I suppose what I meant was we've always been used to having Italian teams in the latter stages of the European Cup, but this hasn't been the case in recent years. Maybe Mourinho fancies himself as the man to change this with Inter. They certainly have the talent at their disposal. Agree that tactically Italy may suit Mourinho. However, did he come up against many teams adopting the same one up top style at Chelsea?

Odds of about 16/1 of Portugal, Germany, Italy and Spain winning their groups. At least one big nation normally has a disasterous tournament. Germany the last couple, Spain didn't get out of their group in 04. The Dutch could upset Italy or France. Switzerland as hosts will fancy themselves to displace the Czechs who would be most likely to finish second to Portugal in that group. I think there will be a couple of interesting dark horses getting to the Quarter Finals.

So winning the last world cup lowered it's stock? Surely the match fixing scandal is far outweighed by this success? Their domestic game isn't what it once was. Those scandals haven't helped, Italian clubs were for a long time the most feared in Europe, not exactly that way now. What the national side did to win the world cup was a fantastic feat, especially because of what was going on back home at the time.
