none taken, but you're 12 and haven't a fucking clue (no harm of course), and you wouldn't have heard of some of them as there is a large local presence of artists. festival started out 10-12 years ago w/ 600 people attending and has been growing ever since w/ 12-16 thousand attending last year. truly an amazing experience, no other festival like it. Toché. Wow, are you serious, 12,000 - 16,000. Jesus. yeah yeah.....its not the same scale as glastonbury or reading but understand this takes place in a town of 2500 people in the middle of nowhere (interior BC) and considering it has no commercial sponsorship (NONE) it's pretty fantastic. when you're 18 you should check it out for yourself. I'm 18 in 365 days and 2 hours 55 minutes kind of the point of festivals anyway No? going to see the band you want but then getting exposed to other artists you may never have heard otherwise.

Not read loads of his stuff but 'Steppenwolf' and 'Siddhartha' are quality. The former's hard work like. Got an unread copy of The Glass Bead Game at home, read 'Demian' most recently which i remember being easier to read than most of his work. Steppenwolf is class too. Never read Siddharta. It's an easy read, you should give it a go. I recommend you read that unread copy of Magister Ludi it's a really good story.......never heard of Demian

He would at least have had to have a gun and been threatening to get to that stage surely? If he'd emailed a mate and said "fuck this I'm going on a spree" should that have been grounds for execution? If so how many people do you think the police would have to shoot every day? Turning the question around do you think the police should have the right to shoot anyone just based on so called intelligence which has been proven on many occasions to be shit? Does this include all the Irish/Muslim "terrorists" who have been completely exonerated over the years - should we have shot them "just in case"? names ? Because, in actual fact, yes I think if we can get to them and they are proven terrorists, then get rid of them. That particularly includes Adams and McGuiness, and don't bother preaching about others stepping into their shoes, because it doesn't wash. Terrorism should not pay or be seen to pay in any shape or form whatsoever. Before you reply, remember that being unable to prove something doesn't mean they aren't as guilty as fuck. What's the point of replying with the names if you're just going to to say "he was guilty anyway"? The way you talk you want to completely suspend the rule of law. Ironically you mentioned Bird and an extension of his actions is exactly what you seem to want - suspect your neighbour is a terrorist but have no proof - why not just shoot him yourself and save the effort in using the law. no, what I'm saying is if you know they are a terrorist get close or on the inside and shoot the cunt Are you saying McGuiness and Adams are innocent because it's never been proven ? What bollocks. Aye, who needs proof, just execute the cunts. So you think they are innocent civilians then Do you even believe in the British system of Law and Order Leazes, or is it just a case of book-reading, fancy-Dan, do-gooder lawyers getting in the way of natural justice in your opinion? You seem to have a fundamental problem with the principals this country upholds to be honest. I don't see the problem with getting rid of those you know are terrorists. We don't need them and we are better off without them. Its people who defend them I have a problem with, in fact it would be a good idea to get rid of them too. define knowing though, you'd have everyone of color shipped off. fact is there is a a system in place (the legal system) that takes those accused of terrorism and applies the laws of the land to them. to suggest that an expidited version of the legal system where anyone that is suspected of terrorism is got rid of (i believe the term you used was shoot the cunts) makes you no better than a terrorist yourself.

It smells of Mid Term american senate elections according to our man in washington then it wouldn't be BO saying it, it would be a senator.....i think everything BO is saying relates to his re-election and the percieved weakness of the current white house regime in the face of what is potentially the worst environmental disaster of the last 50 years. (not to be sensationalistic...) I think the fear is this will hurt his re-election bid as the Iran hostage crisis hurt the peanut farmer.
-
Not sure how much NA news you guys watch, but this smells of sensationalism to me. I think the fact BO has started to voice his desire to kicks some one's ass over this is more of a comment on the lack luster response by BP not about the fact hey are a british company. That being said, I think the general unpreparedness of BP (and the rest of the oil industry) for this type of accident especially in the states where regulations are more lax, speaks more to the corruption in the american government when it comes to big oil companies than it does about BP's operational short comings.

Monsanto whould be closed down......they are evil incarnate Maybe but I'm all for GM personally. Can't stop progress. really? do you think they should be allowed to fiddle with the reproductive portions of seeds? right now they sell sterile seeds so that farmer have to buy more the next year....bullshit in my opinion. GM for the betterment of mankind i can get behind, GM for the sole purpose of making money and at the risk of future generations of plants is irresponsible and exactly whats wrong with society as a whole. That's what I said. which? for profit? or for mankind?

I'm in this catergory Andrew, not really payed much attention to RPGs when growing up, but always acknowleged they were better games than what I was playing as a child. The only RPG that I was gripped by, and to some extent addicted to was Oblivion (which you could've guessed). But no doubt I have been intrigued to play this because it seems more focused on character development than Bioware's latest offering ME2, which in my opinion is barely an RPG. Is it acessible and, and how long is the learning curve? TIA. like RDR its massive, worth a punt for sure will take you a long time to complete, really good DLC as well played it all through and can't wait for the next one

what system are you playing it on? PS3...........just read the IGN review and it said as much in there as well......wasn't meant as a complaint it doesn't affect gameplay, just an observation Your opinion on the online aspect? I fear it will be crippled by lag, which would be a shame. haven't even thought about it yet...the game is HUGE You'd expect a game from Rockstar to be pretty massive, its seems with RR:D in paticular that they've focused more on additional things to keep you occupied (poker, hunting), which sounds like San Andreas. GTA4 was the opposite and more focused on the stroyline, and tbh I prefer this and hope these additions aren't a hinderence to the main story. Hunting does sound cool though. 10 kudos points to the first screenshot of a hunted coyote I'd prefer a bloodied beaver shot tbh Gutted rabbit do you? as far as 'things to keep you occupied" go....blasting <ahem> i mean hunting is pretty cool.........currently at sharpshooter level 5 , level four consisted of shooting 5 flying birds from a moving train......no problemo!
