We go to a CIU club next to Fulham Broadway station where all the old shed enders who cant afford a ticket drink, theyre good crack tbh and revere Mickey Droy and Kerry Dixon a lot more than Roman Abramovich.

Just finished reading http://www.amazon.co...s/dp/1845963598 Spoke very highly of this, which I remember watching in my dim and disatant youth on World of Sport on a Saturday lunchtime...doubt if we'll ever see the likes of it again....

Its on Mikey's own err.. "news service" so it must be true....

I'll see your 80s Boro monstrosity and raise you the father of a well known and particularly attractive-for-her-age televison presenter...

Thats the difference between reading the books properly and just watching the series Point still stands, its basically a medieva/dark age soap with hot women getting it regularly. Best thing on telly by a mile, but it is getting really convaluted. Difficult to follow at the moment, to many story threads and obscure characters that havent been seen for a series and a half.

Its got fantasitical elements, but George R.R. has drawn heavily on historical events and customs from dark age and medieval Europe in his writing. The likes of Theon being brought up by the Starks was commonplace among northern clans right the way through the middle ages, young lads were often fostered by cadet branches of the main family, it hleped promote kinship, which was important in battle. Hasn't worked out too well for Theon mind

I've liked Snodgrass this season too....he has good delivery from both sides....hes a bit like Milner i.e works hard, not hugely pacey and doesnt really have a trick, but may be a better player in the long term just due to the quality of his balls into the box.

CT judges our entire season v 5 minutes of Wigan's Keep on keeping it real CT...
-
Spurs will love that Brock We have got to be fair to them, if the boot was on the other foot we'd want a full strength team put out...
-
Wigan had a better defence and a better team with Titus as their "rock" at the back. Broocie as manager,Valencia Catts, Ryan Taylor...that was a half decent side tbf. Yeah he rolled out the injury thing on 5live last night....sounded like Pardew
-
their results are quite similar though someone will have to tell me how Martinez has improved Wigan because I fail to see it...
-
If they replace Arteta they could do very well.....top half dozen clubs possibly in a state of flux, apart from this lot and Spurs..

We've let in 67 goals this season, Wigan 72. We've only scored 1 more than them, 45 to 44. So is it fair to say that its Krul,Elliot and M'biwa who have kept us up?...I'd add Colo but for his flounce in January he can fuck off.
-
Getting beat off Swansea last week too. Too much to do with a cup final in the middle.
-
Martinez is the new Alex McLeish and if Everton appoint him they'll regret it.
-
Wigan haven't got Papiss Cisse or the spirit to never give up on a lost cause. Kone's a good player but not a 20 goals a season striker. They were abysmal before Christmas, where we were only awful. Maccaspakkas injured, good.

Youve contradicted yourself in the space of one post there mate, which is good going even for you We're a stepping stone club, you say thats the case, but when one of the better players wants to step off the stone its down to the manager? As an opinion, its fuckin baseless shite. Impossible to state with any degree of certainty or accuracy. Do you think Newcastle United are the limit of Yohan Cabaye's ambitions? last trophy won in 1969 and run by the Ebeneezer fuckin Scrooge of Hertfordshire? Where do you get this shit from? -

Its true that theres a lot of pretty fundamental things that are seldom mentioned...like Dekka's favourite: "we wipe our own mouth" i.e. the days of Ashley bailing us out are over, we spend what we generate. Accept that and its easy to see the motivation behind selling a player as good as Cabaye...we've got to pay for the 5 we signed in Janaury. Money doesn't grow on trees, we have to make it. The really clever clubs already have the big players' replacements at the club when they sell the big assets. Lyon were expert at this, Essien's replacement was Thiago Mendes and he had ben there for a season when Essien left for Chelsea.Think Anita,Haidara and Elliot (we were linked with the lad at Birmingham,in the England squad?) and you could be seeing who might leave in the sunmmer. Perhaps.
